Liked: I liked that I could reserve a place before getting to mcleod ganj. The directions listed on the web were not helpful though, and I went to the wrong post office from the bus station where i was dropped.

Disliked: Found out that other single travellers were getting rooms for 450 ruppees when I paid 800. My room was supposed to be the cheapest.

Liked: Grossly overpriced ; Room was freezing cold. problem with hot water. Moved out and stayed at a similar quality place for 50% of the price

Disliked: NO HEATING vERY VERY COLD AND TOO EXPENSIVE.

Liked: great location cheap prices nice helpful staff they expected us what was a change awesome view from room so lay in bed wached the eagles flying around and the snow capped mountains in the morning would recomended staying here nicer of the hotels we stayed in

Liked: Location is fantastic! Centrally located in McLoed Ganj, walking everywhere is very quick and enjoyable. Staff are friendly and helped us arrange a taxi to Amritsar for 300rupees cheaper than the local agent. Mountain views incredible!

Disliked: The rooms could have been cleaner. Dust and old spider webs (and a good few large spiders and new webs) filled the room.

Liked: There are rooms which have a phantastic view.

Disliked: You have to be careful and do not leave windows open because of the monkeys.

Liked: This is really nice place, we got the best room with three side facing balcony. The view of Dhauladhar mountains was spectacular.

Disliked: They can improve on cleanliness and some basic amenities. Rest it is fine as you get what you pay for!!!

Liked: Thanks for such a great stay. we had amazing views of the mountains, HOT SHOWER BONUS. EXTRA BLANKETS !! so soft i wanted to take them home and they also filled up my hot water bottle everynight as it was super cold. Laundry good price. was done the best yet. Deff recommend this place to my friends!!

Disliked: love hostel bookers. but we worked out its off season is off it is better to call and make a booking or just turn up... we paid more then DOUBLE of what our friends paid because they didnt book they just rocked up hoping for a room.. Maybe even just book one night and see if you can get a cheaper price after??

Liked: The room we stayed in had the most fabulous views from large windows on 3 sides.

Disliked: Toilet and shower not particularly clean , because we had booked on internet we were paying more and no negotiation, however that did give us some security over having a place at a time when Mcloed ganj was very busy.

Liked: The rooms were very nice and the toilets pristeen.

Disliked: When we arrived they tried to get us to take a different and far more expensive room, although did let us take what we had selected when we argued. I thought it was quite expensive compared to the other hostels in Mcleod Ganj.

Liked: Location is great, views from balcony are amazing (worth the upgrade!), the best service with friendly staff, great selection of tasty food (tho is a little slow to arrive) but overall fab place to stay...i'd defo go back!

Liked: This is a fantastic hotel and the owners go out of their way to accommodate your needs. I arrived quite early after a long bus journey and they found a temporary room for me to rest in while mine was being prepared. Well placed for McLeod Ganj - everything's within easy walking distance. The quality of the rooms is beyond what you'd expect for the cost.
