Everybody, especially the owner were very helpfull. The place was clean and things worked. Often in India you have to repair the plumping before you can get a shower. But here everything worked, including the mosquito…
Overview
We offer cosy, clean and affordable accomodation while in Fort Kochi - we are close to the City Centre, Promenade Beach, south-indian coconut palms & there are also a lot of friendly people in the area that you can meet.
There is a nice balcony on the property and a spacious roof to watch the stars from. There is also a common "sitting room" for the guests to relax and meet each other in.
We are situated in a silent & quiet family-friendly area in Mackenzie garden, only 10 minutes walk from the centre and near to the beach (800 m), right opposite the famous Naval Maritime Museum.
Accommodation Information
3 cosy & clean rooms, each with own WC & shower attached, one of them also has a bath tub. There is a nice balcony and spacious roof to watch the stars from. And a common "sitting room" for the guests.

Laundry, airport pick-up, bicycle, backwater boat-trips, concert tickets (Kathakali, traditional Indian dance & music, Kerala Marshal arts), breakfast - all available on request, but is not included in the room rate.
We can give good advice (about India!) Introduce to local people & organisations, help to organise your further travels, sightseeing, boat-tours, concert-tickets etc.
We also arrange special 8 day tour pack to Kerala, 14 day yoga, Kalaripayattu, massage tour pack, 14 days south India tour package.
Location Information
Fort Kochi is a nice & relaxed place to visit and experience. Romantic and historically charged architecture (the whole Mathancherry district!), and centuries of mixed cultures - Portuguese, Dutch, English, Malayalam. More attractions include temples & churches, the Promenade Beach with 13th century Chinese fishing nets (still working!), spice & fish market, Ayurvedic health & massage parlours, and magnificent house-boats for the backwaters tours. There are even elephant-washing tours on offer! It is a creative place with lots of art galleries and Kathakali - a traditional Kerala dance-theatre performance, Indian instrumental music and nice, tourist-friendly people. Welcome!
