Liked: It was a clean and comfortable stay, clearly not a five star hotel but a good warm shower and though the staff could not speak great english they have helped us as well as they could, even if they did send us to the wrong train station in the morning! bedroom was nice and quiet

Disliked: the bathroom had a bit of limescale in it that could have done with a good scrub

Liked: clean, friendly, helpful. The Indian style breakfast (included) is very good. Wifi works well, also hot water.

Disliked: very noisy Indian tourists around who seem to use this hotel just as convenient location for getting drunk. No cheap eateries around, only expensive Chinese and Texmex restaurants. A small shop for water etc. 100 m away. The area ist dull, but this is Chennai... (actually a friendly and comparatively relaxed city, apart from not being very beautiful)

Liked: Great service from the lady and gentlemen at the reception. The inclusion of free wifi (which is not common in India), a free breakfast (in-room) and clean room. Compared to other Indian hotels at the same price you definitely get a better value here!!

Disliked: the room service/cleaning staff was somewhat unhelpful or lazy to clean. Always asked if they should clean the room but never did. Maybe they didn't understand me. However theyalso wanted to clean the room every day quite earliy (10am) so, maybe becausee i was still in it, they didn't feel they should. Also forgot to bring me coffee and cornflakes/milk for one breakfast, so i had to do with egg, toast, jam, butter and juice. The AC in the room was very loud at night (even louder than during day) maybe also because all the AC's from other rooms were running and the window/wooden doors began to vibrate which resulted in an annoyingly loud humming sound (don't forget earplugs).

Liked: Stayed only one night...should not have been more, just not that great, although clean and safe still something missing. Maybe it was just the city which was a bit of a disappointment.
