Liked: Friendly staff and fantastically hot water. We arrived at 4am after a very delayed train, and although the place was locked up, a sleepy receptionist let us in so we could go to bed. Two minute walk from Taj Mahal gates, and even a tv. Lovely.

Liked: At such an ultra budget price and excellent location we were pleasantly suprised by this hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and although the room was very basic it was comfortable and as expected.

Liked: The hotel is basic but good value and very, very close to the west gate of the taj Mahal which was great for waking up early to see it for sunrise

Liked: The staff were friendly and welcoming. The location is right by the Taj Mahal so very handy for getting there early before the queues really start to build.The room was basic but clean. As it opened onto a balcony it was very cold (end of Dec) and the blankets provid oned were quite thin so I had to wrap up warm. Unfortunately I did not get hot waterce during the 2 nights stayed there. The food in the restaurant was OK and the service was good.

Liked: Good staff who were helpful and always around to offer room service. Room didn't have much of a view though but good location just off the busy street and good value for money.

Liked: It is exactly where they say it is, meaning VERY close to the west gate of the Taj. You can see the top half of the Taj from the rooftop table and we had a nice lunch up there one day. The waiters and reception staff were all very friendly and polite. The Taj Ganj area is a bit noisy with the calls to prayer and dogs, but the location is perfect. We had a large, clean room with the usual bucket shower setup typical in India.

Liked: The people make the place.They are friendly and funny and above all genuinely interested in your stay. The rest of the city is a dirty place but Hotel Sidhartha is a clean and relaxing place to stay. I recommend it highly

Liked: This is a fantastic place to stay. The view from the rooftop of the Taj is magical and the staff are warm and extremely friendly. Rooms are clean and spacious and the staff will also help you book train or bus tickets for a small commission. Some menu items are a touch expensive but adequate. An honest and friendly space within a 30 second walk from the Taj.
