Neskaupstadur is approx 71 km from Egilsstadir. On the end of road 92. Coming from Fáskrúðsfjörður Tunnel to Reyðarfjörður. Take a right turn to Neskaupstaður (road 92) ca. 35 km. Go through Reyðarfjörður village to Eskifjörður village and from there take the left turn to Neskaupstaður over one of the highest roads in Iceland and then to Neskaupstaður village. Coming from Egilsstaðir go straight to road 92 at Reyðarfjörður.
