Liked: so close to the airportbus, only a few meters from the busstop

Disliked: the people at the first floor, the people asking and asking where to stay.

Liked: The Location

Disliked: Very rude staff and unhelpful. In fact, one of the staff ( an african bloke) started to get hysterical when I asked him what time is he gonna finish cleaning the room. The check in time is 12:30 pm, and as a paying customer, I have all the rights to be in my designated room exactly 12:30, as promise by the hotel. Besides, I still have some things to do. So we waited for an hour, and when I asked the african bloke, he started arguing with me (very scary) and told me to go to the fornt desk if I want to complain. ( I was just simply asking, so I don't know what he is fussy about). Me and my friend were terrified as we didnt expect him to act that way. We were so scared that we left the place immediately. Please avoid in going to this place as the staff are really scary.

Liked: Good location. Clean rooms with cable TV and wifi.

Liked: place is nice, clean & recently renovated. housekeeping everyday - fresh towels, beds made. hot showers and cold conditioning.

Disliked: water keeps leaking from bathroom into room, reason unknown (bad plumbing, bathroom door not watersealed?). Toilet roll holder position is bad, toilet paper gets wet during shower. Comments on ChungKing mansion: Very busy place with lots (& lots) of foreign workers. High volume of people moving around, taking elevators require waiting. Workers using elevators to move commercial items (many big boxes on trolleys) or rubbish removal using passenger elevator makes the elevator queue even worse.

Liked: clean room

Disliked: no internet, only one plug, no notification about how to get hot water, clogged sink, noisy neighbours (which appeared to be the managers and to live next door)

Liked: The staff! I even extended my stay. The beds were nice big and comfy. Plus you could put so much stuff under the bed as the room is kind of small. Location is perfect too!

Disliked: The towels..some of them were just too thin/old. Whatever they say about ChungKing Mansion. It is great to stay there..just be friendly and eat (lot of great Indian places).

Liked: The accommodation was cheap, especially for those who are in a tight budget.

Disliked: Some of the caretakers were very rude and did not have good customer service skills as we were not welcomed properly and was even treated badly by the first person we came in contact with.

Liked: Nothing at all. People are mean, not helpful. That place is a total lie to trap tourists who need a bed and will stay anyway cos it's not easy to find cheap accommodation in the city.

Disliked: Everything. It's on the doggiest building ever. It's dirty, not ventilated, people are mean, not helpful and just care about filling the "rooms". Most important, total dishonest. What you see on the site has absolutely nothing to do with what they offer.

Liked: Good location just between Kowloon's Holiday Inn and Sheraton. Good value for money. Compare to other prices in the city and don't expect too much for this price. Great for people who don't plan to spend too much time in the room. Anyway, the room was quite clean, so it was easily possible to spend time there without disgust.

Disliked: Lot's of hawkers selling watches, bags and other hostels down in the building, but if you are sure where you are going and that you don't need anything from them - just ignore them and it is OK. Room was really small, but that's HK reality especially at that price. However, it could be furnished in a bit smarter way.

Liked: I like the location because of its accessibility.

Disliked: We were not given the twin rooms that we booked and also the toilet and bath is too small and cramped especially in the double room that was given to us. Overall the rooms are small but clean and each has their own toilet and bath.

Liked: relatively clean

Disliked: the building is not friendly, as a woman you don't feel comfortable. the staff is incompetent and not able to discuss problems with the costumers in a polite way. we did not feel like in a hostel at all, they did not care about us.

Disliked: The size of the room was simply far too small. You need to enter a dubious market to get to the hostel.
