Liked: Nothing

Disliked: Room look old especially the wall and furniture, Toilet look dirty, Very Very Noisy, we could hear our neighbor voice and close the door. No Privacy, Room to noisy we cannot sleep all night long.

Liked: The location was great for the price. It's located in a great place to easily get around the city. The linens and bathrooms were kept clean.

Disliked: The walls and curtains in the room are dirty. Just looking at them made us question our stay.

Liked: The location is great. Easy access to shopping malls, food and transportation, especially the MTR station. They weren't kidding that it was less than a minute walk. Relatively safe for a girl traveling alone. If you just need a simple place to sleep a while, take a bath and leave again to spend most of your visit in HK out and exploring, I recommend this place. When I visit HK again, I would book my stay here. Just a caution for people who prefer big spaces, the room space is adequate enough for a bed, desk and TV. So if you prefer bigger rooms, go to a hotel.

Disliked: Disliked nothing. I'm perfectly aware that if I want all the comforts of the hotel, I should be willing to pay for my stay there than choose a hostel.

Liked: Good location.

Disliked: Size of the room ( single room / probably 4-5 square meters) and the bed. The mattress was hard as if it was made of styrofoam. This is not a complaint, but after I saw the room I realized that you get what you pay for.

Liked: The comfort room was clean..beddings were also clean. The rooms were just enough for resting and sleeping after a whole day of of touring outside the city.

Disliked: it's a good thing that we were able to get the room with an exclusive toilet otherwise it would be hard sharing the toilet with other guests. Also the bed was a little bit hard specially when you needed a good back rest.

Disliked: Difficult to find. Directions to the hostel and description of exactly where to find the entrance from the street should be much clearer.

Liked: close to subway

Disliked: most things - booked a double and got 2 singles. room was actually not at Chung Kiu Inn - it was in another building with looked like they had over booked and put us up in their freinds place. Also the shower was litterally above the toilet - some might see that as convenient...

Liked: Good centralised location right beside causeway bay MTR station.Your only worry is not enough money for all the shopping and eating places.

Disliked: Note that entering the building (not the hostel itself) on Sundays requires an entry fee set by the management office of the building. We skipped paying that by staying out late until past 12mn (ie Monday) before we returned to hostel. Anyway there are lots of shopping and eating places around, so staying out till past 12mn is not a problem at all. Room wise, ours is considered quite "roomy" taking into consideration land is very expensive in Hong Kong. The window shades in our room need to be changed though. There were big gaps where we could look across to the next building. For privavcy, I ended up putting toilet paper to cover up some of the gaps. Wifi connection from our room was not stable. Not able to connect to on the 1st day. 2nd day was ok.

Liked: It was safe and convenient, in a very central location in Causeway bay right by the MTR, open 24hours with a doorman, and the room was very basic but clean and nice enough, with A/C and towels provided. The one bathroom is shared with the other hostel guests and very basic, but again it was clean.

Liked: The location is perfect, it's clean and the staff is friendly.

Disliked: It is really old and obviously hasn't been renovated in years. The bathroom is very old and so even if it's clean it looks dirty and old. The matresses are so hard you could be sleeping on the floor.

Liked: Excellent location right in the heart of Causeway Bay and the airport shuttle bus stops right in front. Also the MTR is 1 min walking, if you carry heavy luggages, the lift to access MTR is behind SOGO (also 1 min). The staff is very friendly, helpful and room cleaned every day. I will definitely stay at Chung Kiu Inn next time I'm in Hong kong, best value for money place and very safe if you're a girl travelling alone like me.

Liked: cheap and cheerful, really all you need in HK, a place to crash and clean up.... Slightly erratic WiFi service but daily maid service and very convenient location.. would stay there again!
