Liked: Stayed here for 1 night on the 6th of August as a stop over from Roatan Honduras to Tikal Temples. We arrived after a 15 hour bus ride from Honduras and were welcomed by the staff. Not only were the staff helpfull and very friendly this place is located close to the El Dorado and Fuerte Del Norte Bus Terminals just walking distance (5 minutes). We usually stay at hostels but were very glad paying just a little extra to stay in comfort. The hotel is super quaint and cosy and has great security. Its also located in the old town zone 1 walking distance from some sites in the old town. Close to some local eateries also. Deffinitely recommend this place. Did I mention the hot showers and the great wifi?

Liked: I liked this inn because the staff was very personalble and helpful. They always called me by name. A map of the area was quickly produced showing me a number of places within walking distance.

Liked: Authentic home in heat of old quarter with welcoming staff and great smelling kitchen. Close walk to private and safe bus terminal for a trip to Antigua. Exceptional relics of Guatemala and Mayan history.

Disliked: Our red room was too intense for my taste and one guy had key to front door, so I was a little concerned about what would happen if there were an emergency and only one way out. Although most people wouldn't consider this, I worried about it in case of having to get out in a flash. The food smelled really great, although we chose to see the city and eat out, since the prices seemed a bit high for the place.

Disliked: No hot water and the drain in the shower was so slow I could take a bath in it. Mold was growing in the walls.
