Liked: Young guy working there was really helpful. For the price you get enough for a comfortable stay, aircon, balcony, bed, pool, fridge....the place is ok

Disliked: No pick up/drop off from the port, just the airport. Location is a bit of a pain to get to Fira, feels like it is in suburbs, close to bus stop though.

Liked: we loved everything!! The staff treated us very kindly like family. They even gave us melons randomly one day. The rooms were always kept very clean and had AC, TV, wifi and fridge. They also have a nice pool. They are located just down the street from multiple markets and local restaurants. They even called the bus to help us find which time it would arrive to take us to our port. Overall, had a great stay here and would recommend it!

Liked: Spacious, beautiful and clean rooms, excellent pool area. It is a bit of a walk to Fira centre, but if you rent a scooter/ATV (and I strongly advise you to get one of those in Santorini) it won't be very far. The staff is friendly and very willing to help. Honestly I don't thing I can find one criticism for this amazing pension.

Liked: There's a swimming pool, you can help yourself to tea and coffee whenever, the room was clean and had a fridge. And best of all for us it was really cheap and very good value. Also Andreas the owner's son met us from the bus stop (the bus picks you up from the ferry port) and showed us all the facilities which was very helpful.

Disliked: Only very small things - there was only a net curtain in our room and a street outside so when the light was on we could have had some peeping toms, he he. Also to note that it is a 20 minute walk from the main town but that was fine for us as it meant it was cheaper.

Liked: This is a true little gem - great value for money, basic but well appointed and spotlessly clean rooms. The entry/reception area has a great view out to the ocean, as do some of the rooms also. Our balcony did not have ocean views, but lovely all the same. The pool is great - plenty of sun beds and a great spot to relax after a hot day exploring. Anna pension is about 1 km from Fira - it is close enough to walk, but if you want there is also a bus which runs regularly in to town. We arrived into Thira port at 2am - we were told to ring the bell when we arrived and we would be let in - Anna was really helpful and it was no hassle to wake her up at 2am!!!

Disliked: No breakfast included and you could not purchase breakfast as an extra, but no big deal as there are plenty of little restraurants offering breakfast in the street.

Liked: I got the private room with sea view, I really like the room. With the price I paid, it is more than worth it.

Disliked: No self catering services, only coffee machine and kettles. But since the restaurant on the island is not so expensive, it's not really a big issue, but eating out all the time is boring too.

Liked: It was quiet and cozy. They came and picked me up at the airport and let me store my bag after I checked out. There was a nice looking pool, but I didn't use it.

Disliked: Lack of breakfast. It is a bit of a walk from Fira town. I expected the buses to run more often, but the walk was doable and nice on a warm evening.

Liked: free airport pick up service and clean swimming poolThe host family were really nice and cool!!

Disliked: I can walk to Fira village but it takes about 20-30 min And for the bus stop as well, it's a bit away from it and you wouldn't be willing to pay for the bus fare once you take the local bus once

Liked: Very clean, comfortable and relaxed. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful (family run!) and the location is perfect: close enough by atv to the more touristy parts of the island, but far enough away to escape the crowds. Great pool, and plenty of great restaurants and bakeries nearby (walking distance)

Liked: really friendly and helpful staff and family run which gives it a homely feel.good sized air conditioned rooms. were able to walk to fira (about 20 mins) but suggest hiring scooters or quad bikes (around 20 euro p/day) so you can explore the whole island. the hotel suits the island as it has a very relaxed atmosphere. good central location and great value for money. strongly recommended.

Liked: Unpretentious, very clean & functional, spacious bright airy rooms, comfortable beds, fairly quiet, TV, air con, fridge in room, tea & coffee making facilities, nice family, friendly atmosphere, lovely pool. My room had a sea view. Excellent value for money. Karterados is a quiet pleasant village with reasonably priced local tavernas & good supermarkets. Walk to the caldera rim in Fira not too far & can be done along a pavement. Bus stop for beaches & Fira nearby. Overall - highly recommended.

Disliked: Located on a secondary main road in Karterados which seemed to be on an oil tanker truck route so a little noisy at times.

Liked: Our stay at Anna Pension was really wonderful. The staff (Anna and her sweet son) is amazing, the room was perfect (private with air conditioning and a balcony!), and free coffee. The location is within walking distance to Fira but you can rent an ATV for 11 euros/24 hours and get anywhere on the island for cheaper and faster than a bus. The place has a really nice, home-y feel. Not really a place for people wanting to party, but we (two 20 year old backpackers) really enjoyed it. Definitely recommended!

Liked: I really like this place, just 15 min from Fira. The staffs were so kinds and tried their best to help us for everything. I will highly recommand this hotel to my friends who will stay in Santorini!!!
