Liked: Pool

Disliked: Not being able to use room until 10.30pm as previous occupants had paid to stsy until their night time flight. No compensation, not even a free drink of wster. Very poor.

Liked: The people who own this place are really friendly and welcoming. Its like you're staying in their home. It's not too far to walk to Fira and it was a really good price

Liked: The staff was incredibly friendly, generous, and helpful. Upon arrival, we were greeted with glasses of juice. The staff took our bags and explained the island of Santorini to us. They suggested the best places to go and which activities to do. They helped us rent a car from a nearby auto shop, who were also very kind. The room had a balcony, was clean, and had a nice bathroom. Breakfast in the morning was homemade and delicious. The environment was quiet and relaxing. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return!

Liked: Hotel Babis is a fantastic hotel, one of the best places i've stayed in my 6 months backpacking around Europe. The hotel is entirely family run and Babis and his family are the loveliest, most generous and helpful people you will meet on your travels. They can and will organise everything for you right from picking you up at the Port or Airport until they drop you off again, and there is someone available to help 24 hours a day. It is fabulous value for money and the hotel itself is spacious, cleann, bright and very comfortable. Babis, his lovely wife and the rest of their family went out of their way to keep us comfortable and happy and having fun and they made such an impression that i felt that i just had to write them a glowing review, something none of the other places i've stayed at have managed. Showers: great water pressure, hot, clean, excellent.Breakfast: included, very very generous and delicious (Continental -cake, toast, jam, tea, yoghurt, orange juice, cheese and ham)Pool: beautiful, clean and always accessible.Beds: clean, comfortable, large.Excellent hotel, highly recommended for all, love it!

Disliked: 1. This is not a hostel, and probably not the best place to meet people to have a huge night out with. That said, guests do mingle and there are a number of young people who stay here, and staying here alone was not boring. 2. The location is not the best for people looking for something close to bars and clubs. It is a beautiful location, however, and perfectly situated near the town and the beaches if you have transport (rent a quad bike through Babis - he will organise everything, it's only 15 EUR a day and GREAT FUN!). Also, Babis runs buses into town every half an hour if you want that and he will transport you to the Port or Airport as required.

Liked: I loved how helpful the family Babis was and how comfortable and clean the rooms were. You got free breakfast, internet access, maid service, airport pick up as well as free rides to certain locations around Santorini, and a lot of customer service for a cheap price - it was great! It looked like most rooms had a balcony and there is also a pool with a patio and sun chairs. Definitely recommended.

Disliked: I didn't like that the buses really come every half-hour to an hour - but that's really not there fault although they do advertise buses coming every 15 minutes.

Liked: Hotel Babis was an awesome place to stay- Babi and his father were excellent hosts, and would offer to help us in anyway. The free breakfast was delicious! Absolutely recommend this for anyone coming to santorini!
