Liked: George is great! He goes above and beyond to make your stay absolutely perfect. Such great value for money! It's like you're at a resort - but so cheap! Definately recommend.

Disliked: It is about a 7minute walk into the main area up a steep winding footpath..... Compared to some other places 7mins is considered a long time haha.

Liked: the owner George and his family is very kind, they help us a lot in santorini, especially when our ferry had been cancelled, george help us to arrange the new itinerary! Everything here is perfect, the location, the facility, the people, it's the best choice for travllers to stay in fira!

Liked: It's cheap, it's nice and it has everything you want as long as you don't need a view of the caldera!

Disliked: Staff were helpful but were sometimes preoccupied talking amongst themselves.

Liked: This is an absolute gem in Santorini. The property was beautifully kept, our room was spotless and and the staff always friendly and able to help. We were picked up from the port and also dropped off to the airport for free. It was a great experience all round - we will definitely be back. George was a star!

Liked: The hotel is close to the main town - 10 to 15 minute walk, pool area and self serve bar are also good.

Disliked: The owner George has a arrogant and has a major attitude. The bathroom in our room was gross, really in need of renovation (in saying this our friends room had a new bathroom, so this is not all rooms).

Liked: Evgenia Villas is a great place to stay on Santorini. The villas are all neat, tidy and clean and some have nice views over the ocean. The town centre is only a 5-10 minute walk away, yet the street that the villas are on is nice and quiet. George and his family are very friendly and helpful and can organise anything you want for your stay, including quad bikes, trips to Oia for the sunset etc etc. We couldn't have been happier with our stay. Oh, and the pool is really nice and a great feature as the beaches in Santorini are a bus/quad bike ride away from the main town.

Liked: It looks welcoming and inviting. The owner (George) was very helpful in terms of what we should do during our stay and recommended a great restaurant for us to visit for a romantic meal.

Disliked: It is approx 15min walk uphill to the centre of town, which may be inconvenient for some people. We did not actually stay in the main hotel as we were a 'last-minute booking' despite receiving a booking confirmation via email - consequently we were placed in another hotel 10min away which did not have a pool and we had to walk to the main hotel to get breakfast.

Liked: I enjoyed my stay at Evgenia Villa hotel. The location is good. 10mins walk to Fira main center where you will find restaurants, shops, buses, etc. Fira is a fun town! The room was clean when I got there and they clean it everyday. The pool area is nice. The wifi didn't work very well in the room. But there is a computer you can use in their internet room. George and his family were very nice and helpful. It is a good hotel especially for the price. I would definitely stay here again :)

Disliked: I had email my arrival time and date and had stated that I needed to be picked up at the ferry port. However, when I arrived at the port there was no one there to pick me up. I waited for a while and looked around for signs but couldn't find anyone. I almost had to take the taxi to the hotel but last minute someone showed up. But they were actually there to pick up another group and the guy didn't know that I arrived at 11: 15 am. For future, I think this process can be improved if the hotel picked a location to meet (like in front of a certain restaurant). It's hard to get off the ferry to a crowd and look for signs.

Liked: This property was really nice - good sized rooms with a fridge and safe which was handy. The balcony looked straight out onto the ocean which was nice and the pool was really good. The location is nice (being slightly out of the main town) - we were able to rent an ATV directly from the hotel for a really good price which made exploring the island really handy. The rooms were cleaned really well each day and the staff were friendly. In the description of the hotel it only said that they provided free transfers from the airport. This isn't true - they also pick people up from the port (which we didn't know and would have been useful when we arrived).

Disliked: The shower didn't work very well. There was no hot water before 10am in the morning and at night it was difficult to get a temperature anywhere between scolding hot and freezing cold. The bathroom in our room could have done with a bit of a refresh. Also, the directions provided from the main bus stop weren't completely accurate. It isn't the easiest walk if you don't have a comprehensive map - I would suggest just getting a taxi from the main bus stop instead.

Liked: George, the property manager, is an absolutely tremendous, stand-up guy. He runs a beautiful place that is always clean and has a great atmosphere. The pool is a fantastic place to meet other travelers or to just relax with friends or your significant other. The location is close to the city center but it is not loud. The breakfast was delicious and I would recommend buying it for its low price of 5 Euro. If you plan ahead you can arrange transfers from ports free of charge. George has terrific recommendations and will schedule anything you could imagine to do on the island for you. Overall, my experience at Evgenia Villa Hotel was incredible and the best deal during my month long travels throughout Europe!

Liked: The Room was clean. Great value for money. The pool area was nice. George, the owner is customer service driven and is there to answer all your questions. They pick you up and drop you off at the new port, which is fantastic.

Disliked: The location isn't that central, but wasnt too far out. We were kicked off the computer in the Internet room by one of the workers while trying to book flights out of Greece, just because someone was waiting outside for 5 minutes. We were told to get off in 2 minutes so we couldn't finalise our bookings. We had our own computer but the wifi didn't work in our room.

Liked: George, the manager was incredibly helpful- he even got us needle and thread when we needed it! the breakfast, while not included in the price, was excellent value for money. Also, we were able to book plenty of tours at reception, and George was always able to recommend an activity for us to fill each day. The rooms were cleaned daily, which was such a lovely thing to come back to after a long day, followed by a dip in the hotel pool. and being such a short walk from the main town, it made the rest of island incredibly accessible.

Liked: This hotel is so pretty with a fantastic pool area. Everything is so clean and very tastefully decorated and the pool is a good size so a little swim. It's walking distance to the main centre of Thira and you can rent quads right from the reception for a very reasonable price. We never had the breakfast but the pool bar was self service and provided everything (drink wise) again for a very good price. Hair dryers we're provided in the rooms and the shower was hot & powerful. Would definitely visit again :)

Liked: It is luxury in smaller scale. It is very clean and fresh, with very good view. Close to the town centre and at the same time quiet. very nice decorated with everything you need. George who is managing the hotel, does everything to make you feel comfortable. Very friendly, great atmosphere. There is an element of trust on how things work, which was greatly appreciated. Highly recommended!
