Liked: It's a very comfy place, you feel like you are home. Artemis and his wife were very thoughtful to our needs and were always there to give us informations or to make us comfortable.

Disliked: There wasn't one single thing we disliked about them or the place... the village is slightly away from things, but very easily accessable by motorbike, taxis or even Artemis offers to take you to places.

Liked: Our room faced the ocean, it was beautiful. If was located away from the towns, thus allowing for a very relaxed vacation. Artemis, his wife, and children were extremely kind and helpful - with directions and providing us with complimentary beverages any time of the day. We were ski hooked up with an ATV without effort on our part by Artemis' friend.

Disliked: Only thing is that the roads leading to te property have no lights, so it can get rates dangerous if you are coming back after the sun sets. The property itself it well lighted and it's what we look out for when driving back.

Liked: We were only there for 1 night but were made to feel very welcome and looked after. A beautiful hostel.

Liked: Everything! It was a gorgeous little hotel about a 7 minute drive out of Thira. Situated on the eastern side of the island, it overlooks the ocean. It is family run & they were very hospitable. Artemis was always offering to give us lifts into town & Anna was very helpful in organizing our day trips & they helped in organizing a quad bike for us. Their daughters were gorgeous as well, helping out with serving tea & coffee. The room was spacious & clean. It had a tv, fridge & living area. While it would have been nice to stay in the centre of Thira, this area of the island was beautiful, the price was unbeatable & the owners made it feel like home.

Disliked: Aside from the location being just outside of Thira, nothing. It was amazing!

Liked: Very helpful owners picked us up from the port, arranged a tour for us, booked us mopeds and drove us there. Free ice coffee any time overall very helpful and wonderful people who own the place, as they said this is your home.

Disliked: You need a moped to get to anywhere, you can walk to the beach and a mini market and a few restaurants but getting the moped was simple and they arranged it for you and pick you up and drop you off when you are done with it and very reasonable prices.

Liked: I can't speak highly enough about Artemis Village, and the warm welcome and hospitality of Artemis and his family and of Christos in the taverna around the corner. The beach is great, it is where the locals go to avoid the tourists at Perissa (and it is nicer anyway). The pool is wonderful too, and the hotel itself is great, very clean and comfortable and the view is spectacular. I haven't stayed in any hotels in the touristy areas of Thira or Oia, but I can't imagine they could possibly offer better service, only much higher prices.

Liked: Everything was above and beyond our expectations. Artemis and his wife Ana go to extreme lengths to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Everything super clean, the views and location to beaches etc are fantastic, the pool is great :) Coffee and tea, cute lobby. Artemis even picked us up/dropped us off for our ferry for free. Gave us more information about the island and activities than we could have asked for. These guys deserve your business! Lovely lovely lovely!

Disliked: NOTHING, everything absolutely perfect.

Liked: This place was amazing! Definitely makes you feel at home! The owners are such sweethearts always offering to get you hot chocolate, tea or coffee! And offering advice on what to see and do on this charming island. The pool was lovely and the beach is right around the corner! Loved it here!

Liked: What I like the most about this property was the hospitality. I felt like I was staying at my grandma's house had she lived in Greece. We were picked up for free at the port at 1am, and renting a car was made virtually effortless. They offered iced coffee at all times of the day.

Disliked: How unreal it seemed ;)

Liked: very nice staffs! They offered hot coffee, chocolate or tea whenever u want. Also, they drove us to Fira downtown and port, which was really kind of them. ;)

Liked: Atremis and Anna were so hospitable and friendly, they picked us up from the bus station and drove us to the hotel. As soon as we arrived they made us hot chocolate and got us set up in our room. a Our room was private on the lower level and with a great view of the sea! He also offered to drive us into Thira Town when we wanted (it was like a 5 minuet drive).

Disliked: Not in walking distance of Thira Town, but a great location close to one of the blck sand beaches.

Liked: Artemis and Ana couldn't be nicer. The best place I've stayed in. Rooms are great and the service is even better.

Disliked: Location is not the best but you can rent a quad or a car to move around; it is non expensive and you'll need it anyway for there's a lot to see in Santorini.

Liked: The owners are wonderful. They will pick you up from the port, give you a run down of their island home, and a map to make it happen. They know everyone as said in a previous post and will make sure your stay is enjoyable and catered to your needs. We rented an ATV (4 wheeler) to get around the island, and literally had the most fun of our entire month long journey. Our room overlooks the ocean with the most amazing views and a comfortable bed. There is a TV but it hasn't been turned on once. Internet is free and good. All in all, was a great room for a great price with great people. p.s. We rented our ATV from Manolis (Artemis will put you in touch with him). Between the two of them (Manolis and Artemis) we felt at home from the second we got here. I would highly reccomend getting the 200cc quad because it really helps getting you up and down the Volcanic island. Make sure you see the sunset at Oia.

Disliked: Good luck finding something bad...

Liked: The family that run this hotel are so lovely and helpful. They gave us all the information we needed to make the most of our time in Santorini and the hotel itself is really good with fantastic views.

Disliked: It was a little bit away from the towns but with the hire of the quads being so reasonable this wasnt a problem. Too far to walk to Fira.

Liked: Our stay at Artemis Village was perfect! Artemis and his wife are ver helpfull, they will accomadate your ever need. They offer free lifts into town when ever you need them and does one pick up a night, to save you getting a taxi.

Liked: My boyfriend and I found Artemis Village on a hostel booking site on our 6 week trip in Greece. When we arrived, we were very confused as it is the FURTHEST place from a hostel you could ever imagine! Crisp white and bright blue villas greeted us on the sea side, and at night you could see Fira lit up in the distance. Clean, air conditioned rooms, which are very spacious and very comfortable. A swimming pool, always clean and refreshing right outside your door. And most importantly, two wonderful hosts, Artemis and Anna, who spend their days (and nights) making sure you have the best stay you could ever imagine. Both are very well-liked and well-known on the island, as we came to find out, and can set you up with everything from excursions to restaurant recommendations to car / scooter / atv rentals at the best prices (with no sneaky business as you can sometimes find on the islands). The location is stellar, with a great view, and only minutes from Fira and about 15 min from Oia. It is also central to the island, which makes it a great base if you're looking for more than just dinners on the caldera.Would definitely stay here again (and we're planning to!)

Liked: Artemis Village is an excellent facility to stay. It is a clean establishment. Artimes and his wife are very hospitable. Coffee was provided free and toast and loaf cakes were 4 euros. We had a double ensuite w/ our own bathroom and an excellent view. It is about 5 min. from Fira driving, but Artemis will drive you to town and from there you can rent a vehicle, take the bus or take a taxi. I would stay here again, but on the next trip I would rent a car or moto as it seems to be a better mode of transportation.

Liked: The hostel is located incorrectly on GPS-enabled map, in fact it's Karterados suburbs, closer to the east seaside, exactly near the Santorini airport. So you can clearly watch and hear all landing and taking off planes. So don't expect having quiet night.The pickup from the port was late so we had to pay additionally to the girl on the port information desk for the call to the hostel. She helped to discover the situation (owner's wife doesn't speak good english).Nevertheless the owner, Artemis and his wife are really friendly and show great hospitality. They did bring us to the friendly rent a car office and helped to organise car reservation. Later the guys from rent a car service pick us up to Fira, otherwise we had to pay a taxi.
