Liked: The couple who run the place are incredibly nice! - Our ferry to Santorini got cancelled so we had to reschedule our stay there but they rescheduled for us without any charge - Offered us free food whenever we went into the reception with a question - Helped us find a place to rent a car - Picked us up from the Ferry - Explained places to visit and where the places are located

Disliked: I visited with 2 other people so we booked a larger room. Because it was winter and the room was quite large, the one heater didn't quite provide enough heat.

Liked: I adored this place...Poppy made me lunches and dinners for free without me asking! She was absolutely so kind. They found a place to rent a vehicle for me and even drove me to my next hotel. They were just a pleasure to stay with and I really enjoyed the charming hotel meets bed-and-breakfast atmosphere.

Disliked: Absolutely nothing!

Liked: Villa manos was sooooo amazing.Our stay there was great.The staff was super friendly and the hotel very clean.The pool was great and relaxing.The price was excellent and the rooms very comfortable.We highly recommend this place to anyone goes Santorini.

Liked: Everything! We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff was the friendliest and most helpful that we have come across on our 2 1/2 month journey. We went in winter so weather was cold but the pool looked so beautiful we would have loved to go in it. The location is great especially if you rent quads from Markos! A big thank you to Poppy for making us feel so welcome and at home!

Liked: Poppy and her team are more than friendly and helpful. they went above our expectations when we were seeking advice or needed taxi's etc. They responded quickly to any of our requests and made our stay a wonderful experience. the property is realy well maintained and is very peaceful.

Disliked: Once you find your way around there really isn't anything to dislike about the property. Initially we felt we could have been more central to the main town, but once we understood the bus service times and got a decent taxi rate (they taxi driver's will try and charge you what they like, but get a fixed price your happy with and stick to it), we were more than happy we were slightly out of they way since we didn't have the problem of our place being over touristy or noisy!

Liked: This place was amazing and the staff were just lovely!!! I had been stuck in Athens due to the strikes so it was nice to walk off the plane amd be picked up and taken to the hotel as well as being cooked lunch they also helped me organise day trips and quad bike hire. Loves to Poppy!! The accommodation was also very clean and lovely rooms with a gorgeous pool and I didnt mind paying for breakfast as it was really decent. :)

Disliked: I had no dislikes at all but some people may not like the distance to Fira which is not far on the bus or if you hire a quadbike then you can drive yourself there. Also for budget travellers 5 euro for breakfast might seem a little bit pricey.

Liked: The owners were extremely helpful - from renting bikes/cars to offering advice on where to go around the island.

Disliked: It was a little far from Fira and beaches - though the buses made it easy to get there and they had a pool.

Liked: This place was absolutely beautiful. Just out of town enough to be quiet and serene, and only a 5 minute bus ride into town. We had a fantastic time. Poppy and her family are wonderful, fun, kind people who welcomed us so warmly and helped us with everything we needed. We were treated like family and really felt at home. The property is clean and white and beautiful, the rooms are spacious and comfortable and the pool area is awesome. We will definitely be back.

Disliked: That we had to leave eventually!

Liked: L'hôtel et l'accueil sont très sympathiques .Il est appréciable d'être récupérer au port. Les chambres sot de tailles très différentes. Nous avons demandé à changer et nous avons pu avoir une autre chambre très facilement. La piscine est très agréable.

Disliked: L'hôtel est un peu loin de Fira et au mois d'aout les bus trop remplis ne vous acceptent pas toujours. Comme ils passent toutes les demi-heures cela peut devenir décourageant ! A pied c'est loin et dangeureux car il n'y a pas de trottoir. Un problème que nous avons rencontré mais nous ne savons pas s'il était unique ou si cela peut se reproduire tout le temps : devant l'hôtel dès 7h du matin et jusqu'à 19h00 défilent des camions citerne assez bruyants. Autre point, demander absolument à éviter les chambres en bordure de route sous la piscine.

Liked: We were made to feel so welcome from the start, and our hosts did everything they could to make sure we were comfortable and well looked after. Our room was great, as was the pool, and it was a great location on the edge of town. Loved our stay.

Liked: Staff were friendly -- its a family business and luckily we had interface with all of them. The owner was helpful. The advice on day tour was great and good value for money. The hospitality of owner was awesome.

Disliked: Though it was not in Fira but location is not that bad, can go up to Fira or down to beaches by bus.

Liked: The staff was awesome! Very helpful with everything we wanted or needed. A bus stop was a minute away, and could take you to anywhere on the island. Quad or scooter rentals were arranged by the hotel. Swimming pool! Laundry service. Air conditioning. Clean room. We even received a free bottle of wine as a thank you for staying at the hotel! Unbelievable! In our two month trip around Europe, this was by far the best place we stayed at!

Disliked: Not a thing.

Liked: Friendly staff. They book all tours for you, book any four wheelers scooters etc. They will order you take away if you don't wantto go out and serve a delicous breakfast. Hostel is also in a great locatin, walking distance to fora the main city. Very clean and safe.

Disliked: nothing. I just wouldn't reccommend this hostel if you plan on staying up all night and making noise because there is a mix of families and backpackers.

Liked: Cant say enough about this place. The service was amazing! Poppy and her family could not do enough to help us. So welcoming. Good location, could easily walk into town or Poppy will arrange cheap quad bikes to get around. The pool was amazing and rooms were nice and cleaned daily. Had a wonderful time at Villa Manos and would LOVE to stay again!

Disliked: Nothing. It was perfect, amazing value for money.

Liked: The owner was amazing and treated us very well, picked us up from the boat, and drove us to our departing boat at 1 AM. She also gave us a bottle of wine as we were leaving. There were great views and the pricing was better than most places.

Disliked: It was a 30 minute walk to the main town but buses would come every half an hour.

Liked: The owners were absolutely lovely. When we arrived they brought us a bowl of pasta just because we had to wait 10 minutes for our room (the shortest amount of time we waited anywhere). They do eveything they can to accommodate you you could not feel unwelcome. The pool was lovely and the view from the balcony was beautiful. It was also nice to be a bit out of the main area so you just chill out. They are also able to recommend some really good tours. We thoroughly enjoyed it here.

Liked: Loved the Hosts... they were more than helpfull, room was clean and spacious, but the location for a solo traveler wasnt ideal, a bit of a walk from Fira town on your own but there are bus's just on the main road. Also I didnt see the pool bar open through out my stay and it was the middle of sumer... which was a bit strange, but all in all I enjoyed my stay.

Disliked: Not much to complain about realy!
