Liked: If you want to stay at a hotel in Santorini, yet you are budget-conscious, Villa Manos is for you. It is inexpensive, yet not "cheap" - that is, it offers a very good service at a very good price. Poppy and Vangeli, the lovely couple who run the hotel, are helpful, and the free transfer to and from the hotel is a great asset. The hotel may not be located in Fira, but, remember, Santorini is a small island, and distances are walkable (you can reach the centre of Fira in 20-25 minutes on foot). For those with little kids, walking is not really advised because of the traffic, yet the money paid for a cab from and to the hotel are an ok expense compared to the alternative of paying more just to stay in Fira or Ia.

Liked: More of an hotel than hoste. Poppy and family are wonderful. Could not ask for anything more. Santorini in a day suggestion was well worth it! Just ask and Poppy delivers. This woman is a saint!

Liked: Poppy was the most friendly person I came across in my three weeks in Europe. She was more than helpful by driving us to the grocery store, feeding us for free one night, arranging tours and giving us directions everywhere. This was nice considering this was our relaxing part of the trip and we were really looking forward to taking it easy, getting some sun, and having fun. In addition, if you get a balcony with a view of the water, it's gorgeous and is definitely worth watching the sunrise. Felt more like home than any other place we stayed. The only downfall was that there wasn't any wifi at the hostal and you have to pay 3 euros to use the internet for an hour, but other than that, a great place and worth the money.

Liked: This was the best part of our trip!!Poppy and all the staff there are amazing.Not to mention value for money, the rooms are great and they include all transfers to and from the airport.For a few bucks extra you can have breaky there and its well worth it.Its a little way away from Fira, but you can hire 4 a wheeler for a small amount and its a cheap and easy way to see the island, Villa Manos has room to park as well.We'll definitely be going back!

Liked: What a wonderful place to stay! The villa is absolutely beautiful. We had everything we needed, and the rooms were comfortable. Poppy and her family are fantastic - super nice and helpful. The location is pretty good - about a 15 minute walk into Fira, or even faster if you rent an ATV (which you should! they're great!). There's an awesome bakery about a 5 minute walk away.

Liked: Villa Manos is an execellent place to stay. Beyond my expectation and definitely the best accommodation I have stayed so far. The owners are really nice and helpful with our problems. The room was cleaned everyday when we got back. Overall, nothing more I could have asked for. Excellent service, good room condition, and very friendly owners!

Liked: The owner - Poppy is the nicest! She was really really sweet - she would offer whatever help needed to the best of her ability such as arranging for car transport, recommending bus routes, recommending places to go. The service offered by the hotel was really excellent as it was personal and the owners were really warm and friendly.
