Liked: The kittens in the bush next to our room, our balcony.

Disliked: The staff could never be found, took half an hour to find someone to be able to check out. Staff were unhelpful when they could be found and a little creepy. Walk to town is way longer than 10 minutes.

Liked: Beautiful pool, bakery next door, rooms have aircon.

Disliked: Nothing really, it's about a 10min walk from main thira bus station but I enjoyed it.

Liked: Room is nice.

Disliked: I rarely give negative comment but I really do not like double standard. I read about the reviews before and the reason I book this hotel is partly because it offers free transfer to and from port. To my disappointment, after being picked up from the port, I expressed my need to get transfer to the ferry port the following day. The owner gave some lame excuse about probably may be busy pick up other people from airport. It is low season and definitely that is not true. If he asks me to pay for the transfer , I would have paid but I really do not like dishonest people no matter how cheap and good the room is. Also he suggested me to take a bus and gave me a wrong time. I missed the bus. When I called him on his mobile for help , he did not want to help, not even help to get me a a taxi. With my big bag, I had to run to a taxi stand and bargain with taxi driver. The owner of the hotel told me it is euro 20 but taxi driver offered euro15 which i bargained till euro12. Again, gave me the second wrong information. Never again this hotel!!! I love Santorini but this experience left me with a bad taste. In my opinion, hotel or hostel owner should also take care of the welfare of tenant even after they finish paying and leaving. If you need people to pay , just say so, do not push people away when people asking for help. Most importantly, should be responsible giving visitors good memories not unpleasant experience. It is not all about money. Random kindness to travelling strangers even though they may look poor or from asian countries is very much appreciated. No double standard please. I detest such behaviour!

Liked: really clean and comfortable. Not too far from Fira, only a short 10min walk. Close to shops and bakery.

Disliked: Not the place to meet people. Would be great for groups travellin together

Liked: The couple that own the complex are lovellyyy... The lady who took us to and from the port was helpful and really nice. The rooms are great, we had our own balcony, fridge and air conditioning in the room. Really quick walk to town, about 5 min and right near a bus station to take you to the beaches in Santorini. The complex also has a really nice huge pool! Would definitly recommend it to friends and would stay there when I go back!

Liked: It is really near the down town (15 minutes walking slowly) and you have a piscine (open up to 900 pm!!). The hotel is manege for a family so they are all really connected and nice and kind with the people who stay there. The view is really nice and the terraza in your room also.!!!

Liked: very pleasantly surprised that the owner picked me up from the airport. honestly didnt expect him to do that when i told him by email that i'll be taking a flight to thira. price is definitely a steal. room and toilet very clean. free wifi too

Liked: The owner, Mr. Nikos, is super nice and willing to help you out with anything that you need! He was sad because I had not called him to come and pick me up really late at night from the port and he offered to also drop me off when I was leaving the island at no additional charge. The room was very comfortable and clean. The hostel is easy to find and even though it is a 2mile walk from the main town of Fira, I enjoyed my walks from and to the hostel to other parts of the island. I would definitely go back and i would recommend it to others!

Liked: The room was great. The owner stays in a different villa nearby, but neighbors are happy to point you in the right direction. Ten minute walk from the city of Fira, and close to a lot of local bakeries and coffee shops.

Liked: Agas hotel is an average budget hotel. Is at 15/20 min walking to the city center and near a lot of facilities. The room is modest, but the matress was absolutly terrible. There is not a reception in the hotel, we later found out that the owner was in another hotel nearby, so the house is always open and you rarely see anybody else. For the price is ok.

Liked: Privat double. Good, peacful location short walk to Fira. Great pool. Smallish room but nice veranda. Fridge, tv and air-con in room a bonus. Free transfers to and from port. Very pleasant stay. HOT TIP: Best and cheapest way to get around the island and visit many great spots that busses won't take you is to hire a scooter or quad bike.

Liked: It was one of the cheapest hostels I stayed in over a 2 month stay in Europe, but it was one of the nicest. The owner is a really nice guy who will pick you up at the ferry port and drive you back down. The rooms are great, and the pool is kept amazingly clean. Great place.
