Liked: The hotel was directly across the street from the ferry port, which was amazing. It was also located on the main strip of the town. Before booking in Samos we didn't do our research on the island - it's mainly an older crowd that owns apartments on the island or are landing from cruises. While we weren't there to party, it was odd to not see anyone in their 20s. We rented a car while we were there, which was the best choice we made, allowing us to get around the entire island in about 4 hours. The hotel itself was clean, staff were friendly, there was a roof top pool and they served the most amazing buffet style breakfast I've ever seen. I would recommend this place.

Liked: Samos Hotel was above and beyond what we expected. The reception was warm and friendly; the room lovely and clean, beautifully decorated and appointed. Rooftop terrace and pool was an added treat, and the location right across from the ferry port couldn't have been more convenient. When we arrived early due to our ferry connection, it was suggested we have a coffee or beverage in the outside terrace while our room was prepared. We ordered a coffee and an orange juice. It arrived with additional cookies (delicious!) and so nicely plated you would have thought we were at a 5 star restaurant. Our ferry was leaving early the next morning, but the staff made sure we had breakfast before leaving for the boat, at 6:30 am! We would recommend the Samos Hotel for a short stop or a longer stay to explore the island.
