Liked: Everyone in Naxos is incredibly friendly and helpful. The people at Pension Ocean View are really helpful, ran us into town on the first day and offered advice on booking a scooter. Also dropped us off in the port when leaving. Breakfast was lovely and a great selection for different tastes.

Disliked: A little bit of a walk up the hill from the port but you are going to be here to explore the island anyway - once you've hired a scooter (€15 for 24 hours) the location is perfect as it's away from the noise of the port. Good spot for a short walk to see the sunset too and a supermarket around the corner.

Liked: Great buffet breakfast! Owner is really really nice and so are the staff members I met. I was sick (from Ios) so I didn't get to see much of the Island and I don't really know how convenient the location is. But it's a short walk from the port which has lots of restaurants and a nice place to swim. You can also walk to the big frame thing (the partly constructed temple). Not sure how easy it would be to get to the beaches though because I didn't get to go :(

Liked: Second time in Naxos in the same hotel. The best choice for staying in Naxos

Liked: really very good value for money, clean, good bed, our ensuit double-room came with balcony as well, very helpful staff, and about 7 minutes walk from the town centre, also on quite and safe street

Liked: Great location right near the port. Staff were friendly and helpful and quick to fix anything that wasn't working. Very clean.

Liked: The location was perfect, up the hill from the port and restaurants and just a nice stroll away from the Grotto beach and spectacular view of the Portara. Very friendly staff, home away from home.

Disliked: Nothing possibily to complain about. It was definately 4 star standard.

Liked: Clean, friendly owner, speaks good English

Disliked: Name is Ocean View, but long ago there were built buildings in front of the pension, so no Ocean View anymore. The walk from Naxos town to Gotta, where the pension is, is heavy: mountain up and a lot of stairs!

Liked: Very nice place to stay, rooms are comfortable and easy to make yourself at home in as well as being well cleaned. The location is also good, very near the beach and also not too far from the centre of Naxos, however also not too close allowing you some distance. Staff were remarkably helpful and friendly and incredible value for money given the standard of breakfast and quality of stay!
