Disliked: not enough blankets, ended up using my sleeping bag. Only one computer riddled with viruses.

Liked: hotelservice for the price of a hostel ; the perfect place to stay if you want to visit the monasteries of Meteora ... and to find travel mates !

Liked: This property operated by two brothers has a lot going for it. All rooms have aircon, television, shower. Beds are comfortable, staff could not be better and they offer some good advice as well as assistance when needed. The breakfast is fantastic and you will not go hungry.

Disliked: Absolutely nothing other than like all Greek showers, they are a bit small and curtains never keep the water out of the floor but this is not a complaint, just an observation.

Liked: It's located in a quiet zone of Kalambaka, with a nice view over the rocky montains...

Disliked: Their organization could be better. I paid the room in cash when i cheked-in, but in the day after they called me asking to pay the room, that i had already paid...

Liked: Spectacular view towards Meteora, helpfulness of staff.

Disliked: Bit of a hike from the train station and bus stop (uphill), no facilities besides the bar (no food) and a single computer in reception.

Liked: Perfect location - right near Meteora and not far from the railway station. Amazing view from room's balcony, good breakfast. Recommend!

Liked: Great place for a night or two to explore Meteora and Kalambaka. The people there were nice, and even allowed me to store my baggage there while I walked around after I had checked out. Good free breakfast!

Disliked: A bit expensive, but it was a nice place.

Liked: Very friendly staff, tidy and safe rooms. It's location was good, close to everything, but slightly out of town so it was nice and quiet.

Disliked: No internet access in rooms.

Liked: Good location, friendly staff, easy parking and right on the edge of the Meteora area.

Disliked: The rooms were allowed to be smoked in and there was a distinct smell of cigarette smoke in the room

Liked: Close to Meteora monastaries and great staff. We had a great view from our balcony of the mountains and a good free breakfast.

Liked: Good location for the monasteries at Meteora. Staff were friendly at check-in and breakfast and helped us find a restaurant for dinner.

Disliked: The room was freezing cold and when we asked for the staff to sort it out they turned on a small radiator in the room which made no difference. The plumbing also left a lot to be desired - if you turned the tap on a little bit the pipes shook violently and if you turned it on a lot it made a high-pitched screetching noise! Glad we only stayed for one night otherwise we'd have asked for another room. Also, had to overpay when we checked out. I tried to pay with a 50 note and he said he didn't have any notes in change. So I then gave him 40 and he said he couldn't give me the required change in coins as he didn't have any coins either. How can you run a business where you don't have ANY change for customers, not even a 1 Euro coin?

Liked: The location was fabulous...from the breakfast room you can look out and see the mountains!! The breakfast was a large variety of great food!! The staff were very helpful and informative!

Disliked: The shower curtain didn't look very clean and was annoying because it would stick to you while you were showering. Also, the toilet usually took a few flushes to flush it all down.

Liked: The free breakfast was nice. The location is pretty good too.

Disliked: Our "triple" room was just a double with an extra (incredibly uncomfortable) folding bed in it-- watch out for that. The bathroom is TINY-- so small that the door didn't even open all the way, and the shower was more of a cubbyhole. Our room was also pretty cold, and there were no extra blankets available (or any way to make the room warmer). Also, the guy at the front desk who helped me figure out bus times to Meteora failed to mention that the buses don't actually run in the winter-- a taxi is necessary. It's a pretty "blah" place, but decent enough.
