Liked: The facilities were very nice- balcony off our room, bar and restaurant on property, swimming pool. The location was fine as far as being close to the beach and in an area with places to go eat, drink, etc. It is not overly close to central Heraklion, however.

Disliked: The hallway was very loud (sound echoes in a major way). The staff was not very helpful when we ran into trouble booking a rental car.

Liked: It was comfortable and the location was nice and quiet

Disliked: We stayed overnight and when we showered the water came up through the floor drain. Notified the receptionist on our way out. Noticed that another traveller made the same comment so problem does not seem to have been fixed yet.

Liked: The hotel was outside of the city, but very close to an easy bus route to get downtown with no issues.

Disliked: The staff was very friendly but not entirely helpful and often didn't know about major sites around the city. Also, don't believe the pictures they advertise about the pool -- it looks as though it hasn't been cleaned in ages.

Liked: My sisters and I stayed here for one night in between cities. The floor drain in the bathroom not only clogged, but overflowed into the hallways after the bathroom flooded, twice! They tried to fix it at 0100 am, but once it happened again the staff just mopped it up and in the morning there was sewage water on the floor. On a positive note, they did discount our room rate and give us the key to another room to take showers, but still pretty disgusting. They do have a pool and free breakfast, so others' experiences may be better than ours was
