Liked: Great value for money, wifi in our room

Disliked: Bit far from the city centre but there are a few restaurants and a supermarket near, and the bus stop is right outside. Only one of the staff members speaks good English

Liked: The pool was WONDERFUL so clean and cool/refreshing! I arrived at 7am and they let me check in early and on my last day I was alble to store my luggage for free

Disliked: It was far from the center of town and with traffic could take up to 30 minutes each way.

Liked: The cleanliness was good, and the staff were very friendly. The pool is fun to use and everything is within an easy walkable distance. It's easy to get to with the number 6/1 bus from the airport.

Liked: Good location right on the beach and close to other hotels/amenities on the beachfront strip of Amoudara. We arrived on the morning ferry (arrived at Heraklion port at 5am) and the hotel let us check in at 8am. Room was clean, had air conditioning and small balcony. Bathroom was small but clean and sufficient to our needs. Breakfast was decent.

Disliked: Had a fridge in room, but could not keep things inside when we left because the power was controlled by a card that could not be removed from the room key (ie, the power would shut off when you left the room, so the fridge wouldn't work). Directions to hotel provided with email confirmation were not amazing. Look up the address before you go.

Liked: A bit out of town but very close to the beach and the bus doesn't take very long. The rooms are nice and clean and the owner is great and friendly- have a drink with him in the evenings! When coming here by bus keep an eye open for the hotel sign on the left hand side.

Liked: Peaceful hotel, very near to the beach. Also good busconnections to the city, with a busstop just in front of the hotel.The swimming pool is very calm and clean! That's a big plus!Breakfast is quite simple but not so tasteful... While in the evening the food in the restaurant really good is.

Liked: Forgest about the breakfast - you may eat Cornflakes & Milk (which is good); but you don't want the rest.Everything else very ok! Nice taverna right in front of the hostel.

Liked: The hotel was close to the city centre, with a bus stop in front of the hotel (5min to the hart of heraklion, €0.90) So no noise from the city at night, but still close enough to go out for a drink at night. The Restaurant served yummy and fresh food with a smile and real Crete charm. The breakfast was very basic ,but good. The room had everything we needed, TV, hairdryer, shower, towels, balcony, airco,... it's not the typical family hotel with the animation team at the pool, but excellent for people who enjoy being out exploring!The staff was very helpfull when we needed it. there's also the posibilty to rent the room for an extra day (if not fully booked i expect) so that you can still have shower and leave the luggage in if your plane leaves at night.Ah! and for the lazy bones: there is an elevator! Anyway, we had a good time and sure enjoyed our stay!

Liked: I liked my room -all painted white, with 2 paintings on the wall, fridge, tv, bathroom inside, everything clean and nice, balcony with a fantastic view to the sea and nearest mountains, easy access to the city and sea, friendly staff and a chep breakfast every morning!!I will therefor have many good memories from Crete and certainly I want to return to the same hostel the next time I go there!!!
