Liked: Beautiful view. Must have a car to use this hostel but a good location to explore Heraklion and surrounding areas!

Disliked: Airconditioning was charged seperately to the hostel bookers rate so we didn't bother. There was no fan either so we just decided to brave the heat and it got pretty stuffy. Still, when backpacking, you make sacrifices to save some money and it was all part of the experience!

Liked: The view was incredible and it was a little piece of paradise. The couple running it is adorable as well. While it is a little out of the way, the locals were always offering to drive us up so it was no issue! We had an amazing time.

Liked: It is 25 km from the Port which was a 35 euro taxi ride.It is not near a bus station. The owner simply dropped us off on the side of the road and told us to wave down a passing bus, which we tried to do for nearly an hour before a passing taxi picked us up and took us to the next town.It is not near any amenities and the hotel only has internet for those with a laptop. We arrived around 9pm on a ferry from Santorini and had not eaten. Because of the location we weren't able to find a place to eat and the hotel lobby closed as soon as we arrived.The beach is visible from the rooms, but not accessible from the hotel property.Rooms were big and clean, although there were lots of bugs.
