Friendly staff, very helpful, although hard to get hold of sometimes. Nice rooms, big and clean. Food in the downstairs restaurant also recommendable.
Overview
This is a family hotel, offering quality accommodation and an informal, relaxed atmosphere. Guests will feel at home, and close proximity to the beach, KTEL bus station and city of Chania is a big plus.
The hotel offers Free Wi-Fi in the restaurant and public internet access in the lobby.
Only 15 minutes from the Port of Souda and 20 minutes from the airport.
Hotel Alexis is located in a quiet neighborhood at the edge of Chania town, overlooking the city and the sea. A 20 minute walk to the city centre and the sandy beaches of Nea Hora and Chrissi Akti are only 10 minutes away. A swimming pool is available at a nearby hotel.
The nearest bus stop is 5 minutes away and there is a regular bus service to and from the city center (every 20 minutes which costs 0.90). The hotel is close to the National road, a bonus when exploring west Crete.
The restaurant and bar at the hotel open up to the patio, where guests can dine al fresco enjoying the sea views. All guests get a free welcome drink and appetizer at the newly built THEO restaurant.
