Liked: It's not far from the city centre. Other than that: worst hotel I've seen in years, and I travel a lot so I spend about two to three months a year staying in various hotels.

Disliked: I had booked through hostelbookers (obviously) and received a booking confirmation, but the receptionist insisted we had no reservation and would not give us a room. This at 01:00 AM in a seedy part of Athens, i.e. full of drug addicts and streetwalkers. Only after we refused to be sent out onto the streets and demanded he give us a key for one of the unused (but supposedly reserved) rooms were we allowed to stay. The receptionist actually said we might have to leave during the night if other customers showed up, but this did not happen.Note: We asked the receptionist to check their email for our booking, but he said he did not have internet access. And yet he wondered why he didn't know about the online bookings...While we were at the reception desk, a streetwalker (prostitute) and her customer literally came in to check with the receptionist if they could use a room for a short while. The receptionist and the prostitute seemed to be on good terms, though he could not offer her a room at the time. Note: I am not joking, this hotel is actually that kind of place. Everthing is dirty and stained, the smell is awfull everywhere in the hotel. Despite claiming to have aircon, they try to charge extra money for the remote while it doesn't even work. Please, do not visit this place with your family.
