Liked: Got upgraded to a private room, which was awesome.No atmosphere as is a hotel. wouldnt recommend for the parting backpacker. The staff were excellent and beach right across the road.

Disliked: Tram takes 45min into town but is super cheap.

Liked: We were looking for a place near Athens but also near the beach. It was right on the coast and the beach was great! It was also easy to get transportation to the city and to the airport (although it's not a particularly short ride). There are also a lot of food stands on this street, perfect for travelers on a budget.

Disliked: You can tell the place is a little old and the staff that checked us in the first day was very short and unhelpful. We ran into one friendly person on the staff here at the very end of our stay so I can't say they were all bad. I would say stay here if you're on a budget and won't be in your room much but if you're looking for anything else this may not be the best place for you.

Liked: clean, cheap, easy to find, close to public transport, close to food shops and a pharmacy, friendly helpful staff.

Disliked: hot at night, no fridge, closest internet access was a 5 minute bus ride away.

Liked: The location is very good, in a beautiful part of Athens. Very close to a beach. The staff was nice and helpful.

Disliked: The beds were REALLY BAD, very hard with a dent in the middle. Don't sleep here if you have a bad back, like I have!

Liked: The staff was great. They really took time to explain where to go and how to get there and told us a lot about the region and the country. We also got invited to some selfmade wine and had a few good talks with them. Overall very friendly and communicative but never bothersome. The room was quite nice for the price, not big but with a nice seaview and a small balcony. Very easy to get to Athens from there by tram, but also quite time consuming (round about 45min. to city centre). On the other hand driving by car will take you at least the same time exept at night maybe. The beach is close to the hotel but they charge a fee for it, however a few kilometers in the south there are some more beaches freely accessible, which you can reach by bus.If you need it quite at night the street noise from the road along the beach or the music from the two clubs (on certain nights) might annoy you, but if you don´t care about that this is a very nice place to stay, if you don´t want to spend a fortune on accomodation.

Liked: The staff were really friendly and helpful and the hotel was a good location for swimming. Sadly the weather did not suite for swimming. To get into Athens took a 1 hour tram ride but the view is nice. However, the bathrooms had cleanliness issues. If you want a nice hotel, this isn't the place for you. But if you want a cheap hotel with a nice access to a free beach and cheap meals (I highly recommend Pita Time, that is just across the street for a really good cheap dinner), then Miramare Hotel will work.

Liked: the staff was very helpful; we had a problem with our bank and they were extremely patient and helped us in all ways possible. it's a ways out from the main central area, but there are buses and a tram that can get you there quickly. it's also very easy to get to the airport and back.
