Liked: It is a place with character, it's clean, the staff are helpful, and it' a good value.

Disliked: A very minor issue, it smells old, but that should be expected. It's an old building. The character more than makes up for that.

Liked: Kind staff. Breakfast.

Disliked: Location - It's NEVER 25 minutes' walk from houptbahnhof, over 1 hour's walk actually. If you have little luggage and love hiking, it would be okay, but if you don't, you should take a taxi in front of the railway station.

Liked: Wonderful location, character, old building

Disliked: I had a basic room with toilet across the hall, but there are not enough shared bathrooms. Book a room with private bathroom for comfort.

Liked: Creaky and old and full of European charm. FAR cheaper than anything else, due to the decor and age. But in a great location (walking distance to Old Town and the baths).
