Liked: Location, clean quiet rooms high floors good heating.

Disliked: Internet under charge but we were informed in advance so no problem.

Liked: Its location was superb, very close to the Central Munich train station and a short walk to the Oktoberfest grounds. I would say it is still over-priced by Munich/Oktoberfest standards and EVERY hotel is ridiculously expensive! Staff friendly and free luggage store was useful.

Disliked: We paid an extortionate amount (for what we got) and they still charged 4euros for breakfast. There were no coffee/tea facilities in the room, so it worked out to be an expensive cuppa. First room we were allocated had a broken door and the second room (changed rapidly) was not the cleanest. Surely free wifi is everywhere nowadays????

Liked: Great location, clean and modern facilities. Stayed in a 4- bed dorm with balcony and bathroom. Well kept.

Disliked: Pay for wi-fi, in the lobby only. Oh well... Can't have everything.

Liked: Everything is very clean, staff is great.

Disliked: Seems more like a hotel than a hostel.

Liked: Comfortable room/beds, nice balcony but poor view, PERFECT location.

Disliked: I booked a double room (as opposed to a Twin room) which the beds should be big enough for two. Turned it was just two separate beds put together to make one double bed. Not to mention there was nothing to prevent them from sliding away!

Liked: Small dorms are good

Disliked: Had someones body hair in my bed and my pillow made me itchy. The 10-people dorm has "windows" to the street from the basement, really loud, impossible to sleep in it. Also the common toilets/showers were quite dirty.

Liked: Nice and Cheap, very good location. The 4 bed room was very nice!

Disliked: After staying in the 10-bed room, it seemed quite seedy, quite noisy and uncomfortable. Gave the feeling of being in a bit of a dungeon. But it was cheap and the 4 bed room was extremely good.

Liked: It is very central and easy to find. The room was confortable and clean

Disliked: I didn´t like the limitations on internet access and the extra fee when using the credit card.

Liked: Great location, only a few minutes walk from the central station and easy to find. Also only about 15minutes from main town/tourist/historical centre. Augustina beer garden also not far away. Room very clean and tidy with furnishings well looked after. Our double private room had a little balcony as well. Bathroom had a shower and bath and all very clean. Nice and quiet.

Disliked: no wifi in room but is available in reception for a fee, or close to Internet cafes where it's €1 an hour.

Liked: It was clean and efficiently run for the most part. I stayed in a 4-person room and we got fresh towels every day. The breakfast was also good. The rolls are excellent, like all rolls I've had in Munich.

Disliked: Not much. It's not as quirky as some of the indie hostels out there and i heard that the 14-person rooms can get a bit crowded, but my suite Was fine.

Disliked: bed sheets are not provided. there is a cover sheet on the mattress and then a comforter. it didnt really alter my opinion of A&O, i just found that a bit strange

Liked: Cleaniness Bed is reasonable comfortable not as bad as I thought for a budget stay in a hostel. It was in cold winter when I spend my night the heater and shower were key facilities better than expectation Internet is not free though but is cheaper compared to public wifi or other hotels. Value for money as it's close to 3 stars hotel but the only drawbacks are sharing with others I was alone but recommend for a group stay.

Disliked: internet is not free No lift at reception level Half rate to be offerred after midnight

Liked: Very clean rooms, good breakfast although pricey on weekends, great location right by the main station

Liked: Fairly clean place, especially given that I was staying during Oktoberfest. Good breakfast for 4 euro. Great location for Oktoberfest.
