Liked: Rooms are almost like hotel rooms with private bathroom. If travelling in groups to Hamburg - perfect place to stay.

Liked: The rooms were clean and pleasant, room 403 was awesome with the skylights. It's reasonably close to the centre, t he subway and was right opposite the hamburg dom. The staff kind of left you to yourself most of the time.

Liked: Great location, very clean, comfy, cheap, helpful staff - what more do you want?The hostel is going through some refurbishment at the moment, so it looks like it will only get better. The room we stayed in was very clean, had comfy beds, nice pillows and duvets. The bathroom was very clean, modern and had a good shower. The room had a TV which we weren't expecting - so a nice surprise. The location was just about perfect for visitiing the St Pauli area, in that it was a short walk away (5 mins to the Reeperbahn) but far enough away for it to be quiet at night. There are 3 tube stops not more than 5 mins away either, so good for exploring the rest of the city. The staff were very helpful too. The breakfast room was a bit gloomy but food was plentiful, it seemed to be on for hours (so was good for those of us who got up late) and they even had TV in there too, so we could catch up on the news on CNN. There was free parking right outside too. For our visit to catch a World Cup match, I'd say it was spot on
