Liked: There is only one small kitchen. I think that it should have more one kitchen. Other is ok. Location is perfect, 10 minutes from train station. Reception is helpful. I would like to recommend to stay here while you stay in Hamburg.

Liked: Excellent value for money, it's like staying in a proper hotel. Friendly staff and people with easy access to transport links and city centre.

Liked: Very attractive hostel, modern and very comfortable. Lobby area is spotless with comfortable couches to relax in. The atmosphere was somewhat lacking but overall I was very happy with the condition of the rooms (spotless) the breakfast was adequate and the price was reasonable. Would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay at a slightly more upmarket hostel with modern facilities.

Liked: Really helpful ans friendly staff, very short walk from altona station so can jump on the U-Bahn and go where ever you fancy, nice rooms too!

Liked: The Hostel itself was great. very clean and the staff were very friendly... I was by myself in Hamburg for one night so it may have been more appropriate for me to choose a hostel with a better area... cause the homeless people freaked me out.

Liked: Simply the best hostels I've been in...Very clean, safe place , efficient staff, excellent place, neat kitchen and reception. Perfect.The only downer : you have to take the subway to go there.

Liked: This hostel is fine, very clean and the rooms are nice. The atmosphere needs to be worked on. I mean, there is a bar but not really used and there isn't much of an effort made at cultivating the meeting of guests, which for me is something that is important in a hostel.The internet was a bit shady and the lockers were a bit problematic but overall, it's a fine place to stay. A bit of work on the social scene of the hostel and it could be a real winner!

Liked: The decor was really like a hotel, the beds were so comfortable and the rooms well-laid out. My only criticism is there are no lockers in the dorms which can make you wary about leaving your belongings in there.

Liked: I have to admit this was one of the best hostels I stayed at in Hamburg and Europe. I reserved a single bedroom for myself at a very affordable rate and I had an extra bed with my room. The flatscreen tv was excellent and the washroom was clean. There was also a walk in closet with my room. The bar downstairs was great and the beach style chairs was a great way to meet people. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Things that could be improved is the breakfast that costed 4 Euros and the location is a bit away from central Hamburg. However, it was still close to a underground train station so it was not hard to get around. There are also other great facilities in the hostel like kitchen, laundry, computers and free bedsheets. I have to admit that booking rooms for this hostel on hostelbookers.com can get you some great discounts. Overall, excellent hostel to stay at.
