Liked: Although a two star hotel, Englebertz is very central, minutes from the cathedral, museums (including the Wallraf virtually across the road) and river. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms smart and clean. No fuss, no frills but by no means austere or spartan either - perfect for the traveller on a budget.

Disliked: There was nothing to dislike.

Liked: Very friendly and efficient staff. Our toilet flush was broken on arrival but fixed very quickly. Great location right between the shops and riverside restaurants and bars. Really great buffet breakfast too.

Disliked: If I'm being really picky the curtains were a bit small for the window so it wasn't really dark when they were closed. But this is being picky...

Liked: A good hotel for the price. Quite close to Cathedral. Good breakfast, clean rooms, friendly staff. If visit Koln again, would probably stay there again.

Disliked: Khachatur left no negative feedback.
