Liked: We really loved Alex Hotel!! Great value for money. The room was spacious, clean and had a kitchen area. The staff were delightful and always there to help. I enjoyed the breakfast every morning. The locality of the Hotel was great. The tram stop which takes you into Alexanderplatz is literally less than 30 seconds from the Hotel. I would defintely stay again next time I visit Berlin.

Liked: This was one of the best hostels stayed in during our trip around Europe, very clean, and modern, with good location beside tram line, easy to get into centre

Liked: Location good but you could be closer to Alexanderplatz but Tram line outside compensates for that. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable and breakfast was quite good. Receptionist working at night was very good.

Disliked: Not much all was good just not excellent area a bit quiet

Liked: being two tram stops from alexanderplatz, helpful staff willing to help me speak some german, computer / email access was important to me during my stay, good breakfast food

Liked: Very nice hotel with clean and modern rooms. Excellent breakfast, and helpful staff made this an above expectations visit. Free coffee/thee during the day, and fast (free) WiFi.

Liked: Great value for money!!! Very clean, comfy beds, big rooms with huge windows, great breakfast!!! Right in front of the tram, 3 stops away from Alexanderplatz. Easy to get to and from Airport.

Liked: The rooms were lovely, very clean and everything you could need. The breakfast was AMAZING and the staff were sooooo nice, they really went out of their way to help you and be super friendly

Disliked: It is not a stone's throw away from Alex!!! it is 2 tram stops away, which is fine, but not when you have heavy bags. more info on the location and directions on how to get there from Alex or the airport.

Liked: Amazing hotel! Very Friendliness and helpfulness staff (especially the brazilian guy Julio), excellent breakfast, wireless for free, clean hotel, very well located in front of a bus stop.

Liked: Very good value for money. Clean and a good location

Disliked: Even the hairiest of shot-putters would be hard pushed to call this "a stone's throw" from Alexanderplatz but the location is good nevertheless.

Liked: The location is perfect because their is a tram in front of the hotel and it's very close to Alexanderplatz. The room was very clean, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Liked: Rooms are bright, pretty and very clean, service is great and very friendly, very good breakfast (love the free range eggs!!)! I had a better experience there than in many ***+****-hotels and will definetely stay there again!

Liked: Nice hotel, friendly staff, nice breakfast & good location. 2 min to alexander platz on the tram (tram station is at the front of the hotel) Also many restraunts within short walking distance at a good price. Would definitely reconmend this hotel.

Liked: The room was very cosy and clean, breakfast was excellent. I would also describe the hotel stylish. Definitely would go again but ask a room on the court yard side because traffic is a bit noisy on summer time when it is nice to keep windows open. Good location in a sence that tram is going just in front of the main door, bus behind the corner and it is walking distance from the Prenzlauer Berg area.

Liked: Everything about our stay in this hostel was great. Nothing at all to fault! Really friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was brilliant and useful time serving till 12pm (and free tea and coffee all day). Rooms were clean and pleasant with probably one of the comfiest hotel beds I have ever stayed in! Really good transport links to anywhere you would want to go and within 10 minutes walk of lovely Kollwitzplatz area. Excellent all round, will definitely be staying here next time we are back in Berlin. Thank you Hotel Alex :)

Liked: Not quite a hotel feel, but generally very good atmosphere,internet, friendly staff - most of it - clean,very good breakfast and the tram station was just outside the doorstep. All of this in a great price.
