Liked: Quite easy to reach from Nöldnerplatz S-Bahn stop. Friendly and polite staff Peaceful location Clean room Room was warm enough to enjoy a peaceful sleep Facilities were clean Grocery stores nearby Excellent connections to center (bus, train) An excellent value for money

Liked: Günstiger gehts kaum und die Lage fand ich persönlich sehr gut, eine Station mit der S-Bahn und man ist in Friedrichshain/Boxhagenerstraße.

Disliked: Der Check-in war nicht ganz einfach, da niemand an der Rezeption anzutreffen war, wir mussten jemanden im Haus suchen. Als uns 10 Minuten nachdem wir unser Zimmer bezogen hatten eingefallen ist dass wir noch etwas fragen mussten, ging die Suche von vorne los. Das Bettzeug war zwar frisch gewaschen, allerdings fleckig und an manchen Stellen auch kaputt. Auserdem hört man in den Zimmen leider alles aus dem Treppenhaus, jeden Schritt den ein anderer Gast tätigt. Wir sind oft um 7 von Zimmernachbarn geweckt worden und auch Nachts hörte man immer Getrampel und auch hin und wieder jemanden laustark durchs Treppenhaus schreien.

Liked: It was very quiet - more of a pension than a hostel

Liked: Guy at reception is nice. Towels provided as well as soap dispensers is a nice touch.

Disliked: Furniture is a bit wobbly and shower holder broken. Also the pillow is the size of a beanbag chair but not firm in any way; it´s like trying to get to sleep on a de-boned ostrich.

Liked: Cheap and in a quiet neighbourhood (not the best location though). The lady at reception speaks NO english, and despite the 'Maestro' sign on the door, they do not take Maestro and you cannot have your key till you have paid in full (even if you offer to handover your passport till you've paid!)

Liked: Clean rooms, good location 5 minute walk away from the S-bahn station, no brekfast in the morning but when you walk outside the door of the hostel you will see a bunch of delicious german bakeries on every corner for a nice cheap breakfast!
