Liked: nice and friendly staff. Great location and easy to find. Close to the metro. Rooms are basic but clean. Good budget accommodation.

Disliked: One shower on the 3rd floor for all rooms without ensuite. No lift (killer if you are on the 6th floor)

Liked: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was reasonable and for a hotel in the middle of Paris it was very cheap.

Disliked: NO lift and I was on the sixth floor. Fortunately the man on reception carried my bag up to my room. If that had not happened I would not have been able to stay there.

Liked: the staff are friendly and helpful. the facilities are very good. the hotel is very well located and easy to find.

Disliked: the only thing is there is no lift.

Liked: I thought this was great. I read alot of whinging comments on this hotel and I dont know why. If you want perfection go pay for it and stop writing bad reviews. Rooms and hallways are newly painted. Very spacious and cozy with windows that open completely for air. Right next to metro station and 5 minute walk to moulin rouge and main streets. The staff are great they well bend over backwards to help you if they can. For the price I would definately go back or advise it for budget travellers. Thanks Bervic for the great stay

Liked: Location, staff, price - almost everything was perfect.

Disliked: Not clean enough. If you have no shower in the room, you should go to the 3rd floor. I lived on the 6th.

Liked: Great location, very close to the metro station. The staff as very friendly, they were really great with me and my family while we were there, always willing to help. The room was also very nice. Good price.

Disliked: The bathroom could be cleaner.

Liked: Very friendly staff & handy location.

Disliked: We paid for a double room which was a single room with a double bed. Only 2 showers for the entire hostel. 5 flights of stairs no lift.

Liked: nice stuff, nice location, very close to metro station and sacre coeur

Disliked: tiny bathroom, basin was too small to use it properly, mattress very old and small, got backpain after the first night, had to put it on the floor to get some sleep cannot sleep with open window, because too loud

Liked: Good location, very helpful staff. 24hr reception was very good. Clean sheets every day (which amazed me since this was basically a hostel), and even though I didn't have the breakfast, it looked like good value for money.

Disliked: The toilets were not as clean as they should be. Also, only two showers for communal use, and both were on the 3rd floor (6 floors in total).

Liked: Near the Gare du Nord and Montmartre. Allowed us to leave our luggage. Television in bedroom.

Disliked: The hotel claimed to have no record of our booking despite me having my booking confirmation printed with me. After a long wait they offered us a different room but asked us to pay a couple of euros extra because it had a private bathroom which we hadn't booked. Terrible atmosphere outside the hotel - people arguing in the street and a general feeling of unrest. Not the safest of locations. There was no sheet on the bed and the mattress was stained. The door to the bathroom was hanging off making it impossible to shut the door. General shabbiness and lack of care for the room. Better value can be found elsewhere in the area.

Disliked: I paid the remaining balance after my deposit fee in euros. When I received my credit card statement I was also charged to my card. This is a hassle and an expense.
