Liked: Staffs are really nice and very helpful. Location is not far from Metro nr.2 La Chapelle (about 1-2 minutes).

Disliked: Towel does not seem so clean, but still in an acceptable condition.

Liked: Location was good, near a metro and on a walking distance from Paris-train-station. But for the same price we have seen more accommodation for the same price much closer to the center! But the staff was very helpful when they got us a new room because the other one was far from clean....

Disliked: It was typically small and basic, smell of the air-co, very cold hallway and not very clean.

Liked: The location is great if traveling from London on the Eurostar as its less than 10 mins walk from Gare Du Nord. The neighbourhood is like little India and doesn't feel very Parisian, however, it is within easy reach to other, nicer districts and Sacre Coher. The hotel was fairly modern and clean, could have done with a full length mirror in the room and you couldn't swing a cat in the bathroom. Overall it was ok for a few nights on a budget and catered to our needs.

Disliked: Be careful of the creepy night man, cant remember his name but my friends and i were basically interrogated by him when our male friends walked us back to the hotel. He came across very abrupt and almost possessive.

Disliked: Odd thing with the bathroom, from the bed you could see through the frosted glass door of the bathroom to the toilet, even the closest of couples may find this awkward at some points!

Liked: across the street from Gare du Nord, 15 minutes walk from Montmartre; very comfortable, clean room with good hot water shower, nice towels, good bed.

Liked: right next to gare du nord- multicultural area added a bit of atmosphere - not really touristy but still loads of shops nearby for anything you fancy. modern, well designed room at good price and free internet and massive tv, all for a reasonable price. All in all a great place to stay.

Disliked: if i was being really picky- the hall and stariway was a bit dark and dingy. when i came out of my room i couldn't see a thing! there were no light switches nearby. And when i left my luggage on my exit it was a bit of an insecure system in that anyone could just walk in and pick up someones left luggage.

Liked: Other reviews comment on how dangerous the area is and how far away it is from everything. Actually though, the location is prime. No, you aren't in the Latin quarter or Montmarte, but metro stop Gare de Nord is literally 4 minute walk, and La Chapelle is even closer, like 30 seconds. AND Gare de Nord takes you directly to or from CDG airport. The staff is super friendly and curious, pretty helpful, but don't ask them what you should do around town. If you don't already know what you want to do and see, then you're pretty lost already. They don't have good suggestions for stuff like that, but they are good with hotel needs. They speak English and one night around 1 am the desk clerk ordered us a pizza when all the restaurants were closed. Also, yes, its like Litlle India in the neighborhood, but its fine. Good indian food and everything is cheaper there than in the touristy neighborhoods. We never were scared or harrassed at night like other reviews have said. The hotel is only 2 stops away on the metro from Montmarte, and has connections to almost every line at GDN stop.

Disliked: Ok, it is clean enough. I'm picky and it was fine. The sink in the bathroom didn't really drain, the shower water somehow would leak onto the floor, and there were a couple of dust globs that never moved from the corner all week. However, maids come and mop and change your towels and stuff and make the bed everyday. There is free wifi. There is breakfast in the morning. And its good. And yes, it is clean, enough.

Liked: Has free wifi and staff are quite helpful. Stores are nearby. Cheap price for such class of hotel in Paris.

Disliked: I am not sure if it's only an isolated problem. My room has frequent cessation of electricity. But it will return after several seconds or minutes. Have to walk 10 mins from Gare du Nord station, a nearer metro station which is La Chapelle but its connection to other station is not good

Liked: The receptionist was charm to talk to - always with a cheery smile. Albeit, he was not the most knowledgable of people (in regards to Paris and its touristic happenings) - but where he could he was more than willing to help.Elevator was interesting (smallest I've ever seen) - but it workedThe room a little tight but very clean and always tidy (cleaning staff did a very good job)Use of free wireless internet in everyroom was a life saver - and probably made this accomodation 10 times better.Access to your own little fridge, meant that little snacks and drinks could be chilled to consume at your desire - if you really on a budget (all sandwich ingredients can be conveniently stored in there - supermarkets just round hte corner.The view is horrible, but for my needs it didn't make much of a difference.. What did though, was the AC units in each room - Godsend!The proximity to La Chapelle and Gare du Nord stations are extremely important, connecting you with all major local and international lines. Very convenient. As far as the flair of the location - it is situated in what can be described as little India. Its a bit grimy, but theres some decent restaurants (Indian of course) around the area.. and various other town centres are 10-15 minutes walk away, so its not really a bother.Would definitely reccoment this place if your looking for something economical, convenient and generally good.

Liked: The only problem was that our booking was not in their system so they did not have a room reserved for us. The receptionist told us that they don't usually deal with hostelbookers and so perhaps that was the problem. I had booked and paid a deposit and received the confirmation, yet the hotel was not aware of my booking.

Liked: The Hotel is still finishing it's refurbishment, but it's very clean and the staff is very nice, and it's excellent value and location for your money!
