Liked: This property is not a hostel, rather a hotel. Though there are limited local eateries in the nearby vicinity, there is a very big shopping centre with 235 stores only 1km to the left of the hotel. The hotel staff spoke English, which is a big plus as I didn't speak French and were very friendly each time I entered or exited the hotel. The location really is easily accessible from the RER station (either by bus or by foot), and is nearby the A6 highway leading to either Paris or to Versailles. There is a fantastic walking area and a nice park with a lake to the right of the hotel (past A6 and past another round-about).

Disliked: One dislike I encountered was that I was under the presumption that, as a hostel, there would be a kitchen available to store food and prepare meals. One other dislike was that there were a number of guests on the ground floor who seemed to be living in the hotel. They were a bit noisy at times, disturbing at times what otherwise was meant to be a peaceful break away from the city. Along this theme, there is a hospital located nearby, so there was a steady stream of sirens sounding at any given hour of the day. Fortunately the hotel has double windows, which prevented most of the noise from entering the room. Unfortunately, the room was stuffy and hot with the window shut.

Liked: The staff was very helpful. We cancelled our stay the last night and got our money back.

Disliked: The location was terrible. The reason we cancelled our last night's reservation was due to the location - we were not going to be able to make our 6:00 train the next morning if we stayed the night. On Saturday night, we were apparently out too late and had to take a 60 EUR cab to get home. It's better to spend a little more money and stay closer in the city center.

Liked: This was a great place for us to come back to and sleep at night. It is not a social hostel which will allow you to meet other travelers, instead it is a quiet and relaxing hotel away from all the noise which turns out to be perfect after a long day. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable as well.

Disliked: My only dislike of the property was the difficulty we had in finding the hotel. The address is somewhat misleading and I encourage you to study the directions before your arrival.

Liked: My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights and found this hotel to be convenient to shops, bakery, restaurant ... only a few minutes fro the hotel. It is also less than 5 minutes walk from the hotel to catch a bus ... although to get to the train station is probbly about 20 mins. walk which we did a few times and saved waiting for a bus.

Disliked: We did find it rather inconvenient not having a lift as my wife was disabled at the time of us travelling and having to use crutches was difficult for her. We also found that once we reached the 2nd floor of the hotel that the whole floor was very dark and not enough lighting anywhere to feel at ease. I hope maybe in the future that they could provide more lighting to make people feel more secure.

Liked: Very friendly staff, clean rooms, free wifi. Nice area, huge park and shopping centre less than 10 mins walk away. Seems far from Paris in the directions but is really only one train ride.

Disliked: The directions. Here are some easier ones, from the centre of Paris ie Gare De Lyon hop on the green line (RER) in the direction of Malesherbes and get off at Orangis Bois De L'epine. From there catch bus 404 or 402 to Orme à Martin. Walk in the direction that takes you past the shops, it's about 500m from the bus stop.

Liked: The staff were friendly and even helped us order a pizza one night when there was no food available nearby.

Disliked: The hotel is quite far from the centre of Paris. We missed the last train back once and it was rather expensive to take a cab back. Trains usually take about an hour+ to reach the nearest RER station.

Liked: the location was good because it was a little out of the city, but not too far. there were a lot of shops open later than those in the city center too.

Liked: It was clean and neat. Perhaps a good environment for a traveling family, and also anyone traveling with a car.

Disliked: It is in the middle of boo-foo. It takes nearly an hour to walk to the RTR (Inter-Urban Train Station) to get into the heart of Paris. It is way far away from CDG Airport (1.75 hours) or the Bercy [Regional] Train Station (1.25 hours)

Liked: it was strange for me that when we were checking out after paying for all 4 nights that we were there, out of no where, the receptionist girl asked us for extra 30 euros . when I asked what is this money for she couldn't explain. and I told her that we already cleared the check with them and are not going to pay more and she was simply convinced. asking for more money when checking out is kind of rubbing and cheating the travelers. By the way the place doesn't worth extra money as it is far away from Paris and takes a lot of time and money to travel to city. although it was clean and neat .

Liked: This hotel is in the ghetto. People yelled rude things at us every time we walked to the train stop, and it is loud outside at night. The hotel is a ways out of the city, and the trains are more expensive than anticipated to get back and forth. The hotel staff was not helpful in the least. We asked where the closest bank machine was, and the receptionist said there wasn't one, but we found one in the plaza across the street. It's not like there was a language barrier because I speak French!

Liked: This was a great facility. The staff was friendly and the facility was very clean. The only problem is that the location is a bit of train ride to downtown Paris and the tourist attractions. That being said, I would recommend this place to anyone who doesn't mind a bit of a commute.
