Liked: The room was fine, clean, private toilet and shower (always nice when you aren't paying much). It was loud and hot, but I think that is probably the norm in old cities such as Paris. Anyway, it was easy to get to Gard de Nord and it was very safe. The neighborhood was actually fine during the day and when we came back to the hotel at 2 am I still felt safe. It (the neighborhood) was sketchy around 9pm when we first arrived but any other time it was ok.

Liked: The hotel is located inside of Paris, but it's kinda far away from the center and all the important stuff, other than that and the weird atmosphere (the guy at the reception yelled waaaay too much) it's a cool place to stay

Liked: Handy location, so close to Gare Du Nord which suited us perfectly. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed our stay. Was a noisy night as we had to have window open for airflow but otherwise comfortable and clean.

Liked: Hostel was not too bad, however in a really bad area of Paris. I would not recommend this hostel only because of the location.

Liked: Most of the staff were helpful - there was only one staff of approximately five I encountered during my stay that displayed bad customer service and was discernibly unfriendly.

Liked: Staff were very friendly and helpful and dispite the location being a fair distance from major tourist locations, they were easily accessable by nearby metro stations
