Liked: this hostel is out of paris, but is very close to the metro so it makes it very easy to get into paris, there is also a supermarket just up the road which is vey handy.

Liked: 20 min metro ride to anything (not bad for paris, especially because you´ll have to buy a metro pass anyway). But the one you´ll take closes at 11:30, so no staying out late (not that you´d look for that at this one anyway). Other than that, great facilities, crappy and expensive breakfast.

Liked: This Hostel was awesome! Me and my friend got a twin ensuite for about £8 each a night! It was really great value for money! The staff were all really friendly and helpfull as neither me or my friend can speak french! The hostel was spotless clean and the bed sheets are changed every single day! As well as towels. There is also internet access in main reception which was ace! To get to the centre of Paris is about 15 - 20 mins by train which is super efficient and comes about every 20 mins. The train station is about a 5 min walk from the hostel. Okay, there's no clubs nearby the hostel but do u really wanna stay next door to a club when you're trying to sleep? I think not.. Besides even if u stayed in the centre of Paris you have to get the train/metro to see different sites! Overall.. Balladins was amazing! I highly recommend it and would definately go back, you get what you pay for and it was really good value for money! Plus.. there's a tv! haha.

Liked: it was clean and safe and even though it wasn't in city center which would have been nice, it was close to the RER and the chinese restaurant right next door is WONDERFUL, a do not miss for sure even if you don't stay there.

Liked: the village near the RER station (5 min walk from the hotel) and the lake near the area of the hotel (6 stations with bus)with the crouded town with rich villas but a lot of ethnic places to eat cheap.It's a real hotel, not hostel (with big modern and new rooms, warm, super bathroom, elevator, breakfast room, EXCELLENT and clean place to stay and rest) but not a good choice if someone wants to get to the center of Paris every day, it's too far and great problem the particular changes of trains you have to stand
