Liked: Didn't stay long (checked in late and woke up 5 hours later for early train).

Disliked: Did not find out they did not accept credit cards until we got there.

Liked: My stay was excellent like in all the time.Good value for money ,free internet5,free wifi,free towel ,excellent kitchen and downstairs comon area as well nice.It worth it entirely,.2 tombs up for Antares.

Disliked: Nothing bad to say.

Liked: The staff were really friendly, the kitchen facilities were great, and it was in a central location, opposite the train station. Good air conditioning and secure rooms.

Disliked: Not many people socialising.

Disliked: my booking was found written on a corner of a piece of paper!? administrative disorganization, saves them that they are willing to help you.

Liked: My stay at this hotel was outstanding, particularly due to the helpfulness of the staff. I missed my transport connection the next day and the staff went out of their way to make sure that I was looked after. They were hospitable, caring and friendly and ironed out all of my concerns. The hostel was in a wonderful location, close to the train station and all parts of town were within walking distance. All the facilities were useful and the rooms were clean and spacious. I would highly recommend this hostel for any travellers, it has a great environment and I have not found service to match it any other place Ive stayed.

Disliked: I have no complaints about this hotel.

Liked: It was very clean and I liked the outdoor terras and kitchen!

Disliked: It was a pity that the kitchen en outdoor terras closed at 9 pm. It should be open at least until 10 pm, so you don't have to rush making dinner.

Liked: It's really close to the station which was a bonus for me, the staff are really friendly and always there to help with tips on catching buses/trains.

Disliked: The bathroom in the 6 person dorm was tiny, the lockers are cages that slide under the bed so you have to bring your a big lock and there's no breakfast lol

Liked: Only 1 minute walk from the train station. 15 mins walk to the beach though it was down the main street which was nice. Right beside supermarket. Kitchen facilites. Free Wifi. Free bottle of champagne on arrival.

Disliked: nothing

Liked: A converted hotel that still uses the middle floors as hotel rooms that mainly train staff stay in. Very cosy feel and had plenty of areas for mingling and a decent sized kitchen even if the utensils and pots and pans etc in the kitchen left a little bit to be desired.

Disliked: They close the outside area fairly early and the inside area that is located in a connected hostel is fairly small.

Liked: good location, very close to the train station. it is a hotel in fact which is recently renovated.

Disliked: no locker. too noisy with people partying at night

Liked: Nice clean rooms with a bath room. Ok beds and a possibility to put your stuff in a basket and put a lock on it. A cosy courtyard.

Disliked: The staff weren't that service minded towards backpackers. I.g. I had to find out my self where the common areas were. Kitchen and courtyard closed as early as 21:00

Liked: a lot of computers to use, a big kitchen, location, all the other hostels in this price class are the same...

Disliked: we had a attic room - so the person who must lie above in the bunk bed had NO space!! (the other rooms are better), it was very loud outside (construction site noise)

Liked: We were transferred into a private room for 20 euro more

Disliked: NO airconditioning. He didn't tell us there was no A/C in our new room and thats half the reason we booked it!

Liked: Good location amost opposite the trian station and a shortish walk from the sea / Vieux Nice. Air conditioned rooms. Free wireless. Very clean. Mostly very friendly and helpful staff.

Disliked: There was one guy on reception who was quite grumpy (though all the others were friendly).

Liked: It was very close to the train station and the kitchen facilities were good (try to cook early or late because it does get busy).

Disliked: The shower flooded the room out. The staff seemed a bit moody, we arrived at 11pm after a long day of travelling and one of us didnt have enough to pay for the hostel but were staying 3 nights so would have been able to pay the next day but the man at the desk sent us out (it is not in a nice area) to a cash machine which was out of service. It all just seemed a bit unnecessary. Make sure you have the cash with you! It also advertised free internet, but it never seemed to work, but there is an internet cafe across the road.

Liked: Convenient location, close to train station, very friendly and helpful staff, next to grocery store.

Disliked: 20 minute walk to beach, room was not clean when we were told it would be (11:00 am).

Liked: Easy to find, good on a budget. Close to the train station, so you don't have to carry your luggage too far. Everything in Nice is fairly close together, so even from the hostel the beach was only 10-15 minutes walk away.

Disliked: They put us in a different building than the one we expected to be in (apparently Baccarat is owned by the same people), and also paid a different rate than advertised. The rooms were small and cramped, and not very clean. The air conditioner was broken when we were there, which was not great because Nice is very hot in the summer. We had to leave the windows open, which let in the mosquitoes.

Disliked: Kitchen didnt look as if it had been cleaned in months. Room had a funky smell
