Liked: The location is good - easy walk to the old port. Relatively safe, which is an important consideration if you want to stay in Marseille. The beds & bathroom is clean.

Disliked: The rooms are falling apart - there was plaster falling from the ceiling & water stains on the ceiling ? from the bathrooms on the floor above. The hot water doesn't last for 2 showers, & the beds are not particularly stable. The internet worked for the first night (on the ground floor only), however it was unable to be accessed the following day. The staff did not even try to help when we queried. Marseille itself is dirty and we are sorry we came here.

Liked: Friendly staff, free internet access (in the lounge), good location close to the city center and most attractions.

Disliked: At the first look, it looks faded (but everything was clean, so that's not really a problem).

Disliked: The shower didnt have a door and you made a mess all over when you showered. The whole bathroom would be soaked

Liked: I didn't stay here, I stayed at Motel Moderne which was not very modern.

Liked: Staff was very friendly, they initially gave us a 2 person room when we had booked a 4 person room, but quickly fixed that for us.

Disliked: The wi-fi does not work on the upper floors

Liked: it's very near to the subway, also very convenience for shopping. the area is safe, location is very good. and free wi-fi.

Disliked: no elevator is the big issue if you are carrying a lot of luggage or big. the wi-fi is weak, you need to move around in the room to get stronger signal.

Liked: It was the cheapest option I could find in Marseille

Disliked: We were charged a good 40 euros over what was originally quoted. The staff at breakfast seemed incredibly reluctant and slow to refill anything at the continental breakfast buffet.

Liked: It is very central just a few minutes walk from Vieux Port. People at the reception are very nice and helpful.

Disliked: The only thing I disliked is the fact that there is no lift.

Liked: it's easy to find, very traditional looking, nice staff and very personalized service. Also it's nice location, with several cafe just across the road, and the shopping street one block away.

Disliked: don't like the pillow!

Liked: Really nice hotel!and really great stuff! We booked a four beds room and a single one from here just two hour before we arrived. After we arrived, we found there was no four beds room available. I guess maybe the website didn't upload on time. Anyway, the stuff were so nice. they gave us 5 singles!!!
