Liked: I am not sure I liked anything about the property; the staff were as helpful as they could be with the limited english they had. For that, I give them a thumbs up for effort.

Disliked: It was too far from the centre, you definately need to have your own transportation. Public transport is not very handy and there are not stores or supermarkets nearby. I would reccommend any backpackers to stay at this hotel, if you are stuck for accommodation; pay the extra few dollars to stay in the centre - or try couchsurfing instead.

Liked: Friendly staff that were accomodating when we cooked outside. Also gave us excellent expresso.

Disliked: It did not give good directions at all to the point where we walked around the town for 4-5 hours and nobody had heard of the hotel. We ended up back at the train station having gone in a full circle to find out the hotel would have been visible from the station if there weren't trees. When you leave the station, make sure you go right and then go up and over the tracks then go right at the T intersection and it is right there.

Liked: Free car park, free wifi in the reception area, breakfast available for an extra charge. Close to the Motorway for easy entry and exit out. GPS friendly.

Disliked: Very basic. Old fabricated shower, no floor mat provided, water leaks out of the shower cubicle, shower curtain very dirty and mouldy, toilet seat cover does not stay up. Need to push with one's back to do one's business. Bedroom bench was lifting off due to previous moisture. Pillow slip was the end of the bottom sheet wrapped around the pillows. Second night we were provided with pillow slips. Not at all presentable. Formula1 Hotel just next door, should have booked there.

Liked: The staff was kind. There was free Wi-Fi in the lobby. A silent, peaceful place.

Disliked: The rooms are too small. The hotel is not in Marseille, you have to take the bus or the train to go to Marseille.

Liked: nice hostel at generally, very helpful staff althoug I had a feeling they forgot our booking and thus gave us other room as we have booked... the location is more suitable for those who have a car, then it is not a problem to get to Marseille in 10 minutes... we had a nice stay there.

Liked: The place is clean and the persons working there are quite serviable but the place is not well deserved with transport to Marseille...actually it is out of marseille.

Liked: The rooms were very clean and reasonably priced, but the location lets it down. Its too far if you are back packing on foot and the trains to and from it are infrequent. If you don't catch the 9:01am train into marseille there isnt another one until 1:30 and if you try to get there from the centre of Marseille on a Sunday expect to wait.....a long time. The hostel is better suited as a travel lodge for motorists, so if you are not driving look elsewhere. Theres no supermarkets near it, the train station is a reasonable walk and the directions........well lets just hope you meet the same helpful french man who knew where it was!!

Liked: Checking out and finally reaching Marseille after wasting hours and many euros trying to catch public transport. At least the airconditioning worked and the television also worked.

Liked: This property is only suitable if you have a car, which we did. Staff helpful, our air con didnt work and they were more than happy to swap our room - even at 11.0pm. Just a basic hotel - nothing flash but suited our needs
