Liked: Beatiful views.
Disliked: Hostel owner was not informed of our visit, was not prepared and not friendly. Very unhelpful. Had to leave early. Hostel is located at the top of a mountain, requires tumultuous trekking. No food nearby, restraurant at hostel serves only once per day. Very expensive meal (no options, were served what was being cooked, no questions asked). No A/C or screened windows (very buggy). No lock on door, sparsly furnished, poor shower.

Liked: The hostel is located within the mountains and offers stunning views across the Costa Verdi looking towards Monticristo Island. Meals are served on a patio area allowing you to enjoy scenary while you eat. The hostel is easily reached from the airport(Bastia) and is a good place to stay when you arrive or before you leave (45min by car). From my experience the hostel food is more Corsican than most places you would find on the tourest track and the owner is very friendly and speaks excellent english. You should give this place a try. Check out nearby San Nicola too.
