Liked: Bigfoot Chalet Whymper is absolutely worth its price and it was much better than what we had expected. Nice staff, breakfast included, rooms cleaned each day and good location - if you go to Chamonix I would recommend you to stay there.

Liked: Great location, speak english, nice folks all around.

Disliked: The shower wasn't working too great, but it is a hostel and you learn to expect a reduction in luxuries.

Liked: A hearty breakfast. Beds made each day. large communal area and a fridge for guests to use. Tea and coffee available at any time. views from upstairs rooms were fab. Down side was the lorries delivering to the supermarket at end of road...at 6am!

Liked: The check-in place was hard to find -- it is situated in an apartment under a Travel agency's name, so we looked over it at first, but after that, everything went smoothly. The hotel is just near the center, the breakfast is good with croissants, cereal, milk. yogurt, and juice, and the staffs were helpful. I will definitely come back in the future!

Liked: The location is awesome, and it's a pitty they don't promote the fact that they are located that close to the tawn's train station.The staff was incredibly helpful.Other than that, it's an average hostel but nicely disguised as a chalet.It might seem expensive in comparison to what we usually pay in other countries, but given what I have paid for really crappy places in France in the past (it's an expensive country) it offers almost very good value for money.
