Liked: The owners are great people. Super friendly and helpful. Everyone I meet working there was an Aussi and spoke English along with other languages. On Friday they have a hopping bar downstairs and a free pool table. Rock climbing and hiking could not be any closer to this hotel, downtown is a nice 10 min walk or a free bus ride away. Le Vert is the only place I would stay in Chamonix!

Disliked: Nothing at all.

Liked: AWESOME VIEWS FROM ROOM 13!!!! great staff, so kind and friendly and helpful! room was cleaned everyday and kept very tidy! short stroll into the main town, really close to 'Les P' train station. was sonice just being a bit away from the town centre as it was so peaceful and quiet and tranquil. we just loved it and will definitly be back again!so highley recommend to others!

Disliked: ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING! this place was fab :)

Liked: The room was spacious. The view was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. They spoke great English and quite convenient to communicate with.

Disliked: The location is a bit off the town, which was not quite clearly stated. I'd prefer to have more details about how to get there before make the booking.

Liked: Beautiful view, clean rooms and baths. Friendly staff.

Disliked: Wi-Fi didn't work in my case :-(

Liked: Good Location. Not too far from City center. Bus stop and train station was very near to the hotel. Helpful and friendly staff. Nice view of the mountains. Close to mountain climbing and hiking trails.

Disliked: Not much variety in breakfast.

Liked: I booked 2 rooms for 4 people in each room. Expecting two doubles in each, I was very pleasantly surprised to find that in each room was one double and three twins. Also, the bathrooms are nice, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Their dog Molly adds a homey feel to the already comfortable atmosphere.

Disliked: The breakfast and drinks at the bar were a little expensive, so we did not participate in those options, but we soon found most things in this region are a little pricier.

Liked: Everything about Le Vert Hotel was great! The staff was really friendly and super helpful, and pricing was reasonable when compared to several surrounding places.

Disliked: The hostel is on the outer edge of the city, which some may not like, but it was perfect for us. There are a good number of hiking trails right around the hostel and it is right next to some great bouldering walls.

Liked: The friendly and helpful staff made the stay superb. It is a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for chilling out after time in the mountains. The room was comfortable and breakfast choice and quantity was excellent at a great price.

Disliked: We didn't dislike anything and would stay here again no problem.

Liked: The atmosphere. The little restaurant just on the side of the hotel. THE VIEW of the mountains !!!!

Liked: Excellent staff and great value. Really nice facilities. Conveniently located to everything Chaminox has to offer.

Liked: Roomy, decent shower, nice wooden character, easy parking, close to some pleasant walking trails, good breakfast.

Disliked: Middle floor picks up a lot of noise from above, and doors slamming.

Liked: The staff was awesome, took a huge interest in what we were hoping to get out of our stay, and tried to help us plan our days so we could take full advantage. It was an awesome environment. The rooms were super cute and clean, really comfortable beds and had nice views!

Disliked: Customer left no negative feedback.

Liked: really clean, awesome views of the mountains from the window, helpful staff.

Disliked: 20 minute walk from the centre, not too bad. buses once an hour, little inconveniant. couldn't connect to the "free wifi" the whole 3 days we stayed, even sitting in reception. no shower or bathroom door.

Liked: Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Nice restaurant/bar area downstairs. Definitely best prices in town. The bathroom was recently remodeled with new fixtures. This is a genuine hotel, not really a hostel. That said, we were there during off-season, so you might meet more people at breakfast/in the bar during ski season.

Disliked: It is a bit out of town, but not really a problem. As said, the walls are thin and the rooms are tiny. The bathroom was almost like plane or boat size, with a tiny shower in the corner just separated by the curtain. Breakfast was an extra 8 euro per person (but did have all you can eat delicious fresh croissants, fabulous coffee--and I'm a coffee snob--cereal, etc.; enough to keep me satisfied on a serious hike for 3-4hrs before I needed a snack)

Disliked: Bit further out of town than the staff seem to imagine - probably because they are young and fit and I'm old and fat.

Liked: Whilst not close to Chamonix there is good free public transport. However it is in a very beautiful location next to the lake and climbing cliff with splendid views of Mt Blanc.

Disliked: The free public transport was only hourly and finished early. Still it was only a 15 minute walk into town so it wasn't too bad.

Liked: all the staff speak English

Disliked: The room (number 22) and shower looks too old and needs to be repaired, the towels was not changed per 3 nights period and they was wet all the time, because there is wet climate and no ventilation in the room
