Liked: The location was central, there were plenty of dining options nearby, free wifi was included, and the room was spacious.

Disliked: There were no comprehensive maps of Nice available, but it wasn't 100% necessary to have one.

Liked: It was near to the train station and everything was just like a walk away.

Liked: Clean and comfortable rooms, fluffy sheets, good shower, TV with some English programming, right beside the train station and supermarket.

Disliked: We had to buzz in (at night, anyway) every time we wanted to get back into the hotel. When we got there we had to walk down the street from our room to a different place to find the reception, but that was not a big deal.

Liked: It was so clean and the pillows were SO FLUFFY! I was very pleasantly surprised. We were also able to check in super late and check out early in the morning with no problem. There is a heater in the bathroom, which is just a nice touch. Two full-length mirrors. Very, very clean. Easy to find also.

Disliked: The bed took up most of the room, but other than that, I am seriously impressed by this hostel/hotel.

Liked: Location is great, really close to the train station and easy walking distance to the sea and old town.

Disliked: Rooms are a bit dated.

Liked: very close to the beach and the inner city of Cannes, many restaurants/ bars in the area

Disliked: all the rooms are for smokers...if you are non smoking, it is really disgusting to have to smell it while you are sleeping

Liked: the location was brilliant. Right near the train station, the town and beach. Would stay there again and would 100% go back to cannes. A lovely place and the hotel was such a good deal for the area.

Liked: The location was good, but then, there are plenty of other hotels in this area too.

Disliked: Two out of three of our rooms smelt terrible. The ensuites were put in after the rooms were built, and are elevated, so that if there has been a plumbing problem, it has overflown into the room, and seeped into the carpet, which has been cleaned but not replaced. In one ensuite we had, the toilet was built to close to the door, and we couldn´t sit on the toilet and close the door to the ensuite at the same time. When we complained about the smell and lack of bathroom privacy, the staff told us there was nothing they could do as there were no more rooms available, and were generally dismissive of our complaints. After we stayed and continued to ask for a refund, they finally moved us to other rooms - i.e., they lied that there were no other rooms. While our new rooms were slightly better, they were not soundproofed, and we had very disrupted nights.

Liked: If you enjoy ur sleep whne on holidays this should be the last place to go! from 9am you'd be woken up either staff cleaning the rooms, reception calling ur room...u hear everything and they're not really worried to keep it quiet.
