Liked: only the price

Disliked: very bad experience. The location is very very very bad. The rooms are above the pubs, which are filled with noise. The room is very very small and the bathroom is broken. Nothing I can recommend.

Liked: Good location with regular public transport links also very good value for money. Staff that we had dealings with were lovely

Disliked: Had to clean surfaces ourselves on arrival, hotel very tired and dated. A fire escape next to our room didn't lead anywhere as all doors at the bottom of the stairs were locked. Rooms next to the main road are very noisy.

Liked: price, the deal I got was £15 per night pp for a double room

Disliked: the furniture was covered with dust and there were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. the bathroom wan't very clean and the room looked very old and unattractive

Liked: Very clean, and excellent value for money.

Disliked: Within reach of Manchester city but would have maybe preferred to have stayed a little closer to the city centre. But on the plus side, incredible value for money and I would highly recommend it.

Liked: It was cheap.

Disliked: It's a 2.80 pound bus ride from the city, but you can get a "day-saver" which is less than the price of 2 bus tickets, although not by much.

Disliked: A bit dilapidated, blood marks on carpet, bathroom door kicked in, burn hole in curtain. Staff not particularly welcoming.

Liked: Reasonably priced, clean and comfortable.

Disliked: Some of the staff was really rude, the rest were nice and helpful. While I was staying, there was a really loud party downstairs. Thank goodness I was out that evening, otherwhise it would've been dreadful. Considering the out-of-town location and the rates, I think free breakfast should be included.

Liked: Great value for money. Free wifi. Bus from outside into town. Being a hostel there was no self catering, but there is a paid breakfast and cheap meals in the restaurant for residents. Bar and big screen. Helpful staff. Off street car parking.

Liked: Overall the rooms are cleanish, however the showers are full of mould which flakes off easily, so is only there due to laziness of cleaning staff.One of the staff members on reception i found to be quite rude, and for the 2 nights we stayed they had functions on which were so loud we could hear them 2 floors up. Add to this the patrons of said functions smoked right at the entrance to reception (making reception area stink of smoke) and fought in the carparks, I would suggest no one stay here at weekends.

Liked: Cosy room with ensuite, wifi good, 5 min walk to small strip of shops incl mini mart, was out of city, take the bus from piccadily 30 mins to hotel rather than metrolink as is 15 min walk from Eccles metrolink stop.
