Liked: Close to station. Very Cheap.

Disliked: Very noisy bunk beds in the shared rooms. As soon as someone moved in bed, you would hear very loud creeking noises from the springs and wobbly frame. Also on climbing onto the top bunker, the whole bunk bed nearly tipped over but luckily I jumped off in time!

Liked: Super close to train station.

Disliked: (1) Extra GBP2.32 for breakfast is stated on HostelBookers. But the staff said that breakfast service was no longer available! Please note that guests choose a hostel according to the calculation of such factors. I felt a bit cheated when I got that info! (2) Wi-fi was out of order the whole day when I checked in. (3) Only one common room was for guests' use: Kitchen plus loud TV room with limited no. of seats and tables for people who want to use their own laptops. (4) On the first day, the male staff member was not helpful. (5) I slept on the upper bunk of a very shaky bunker bed which seemed to collapse at any moment, and the mattress was so worn out that the springs inside were nearly protruding, making me really uncomfortable! They should reference Hostelling International's wooden bunker beds which are far more solid and better. (6) The charge for lockers is GBP1.0 for a day, which is not stated on HostelBookers (of course, neither was "free of charge" mentioned). I think it should be stated on the website.

Liked: Good prize / quality ratio, nice bar next to the hotel.

Disliked: Loud music in the bar itself.

Liked: Excellent value for money, very friendly staff, security guaranteed

Disliked: Too far from central, but it is located very close to Charlton station, so that kind of makes up for the distance

Liked: Not as bad as I would imagine

Disliked: Shower design is ridiculous, basically you have to keep pushing the buttom to keep the water running. and it was cold...

Liked: The room was clean and cosy.

Disliked: The room was a bit shabby. It was clean all right, but if your used to newer premises it may strike as a little worn out in a cute kinda way :)

Disliked: The shower didn't seem to work properly, and the bunks were a little shaky/squeaky.

Liked: Great and friendly staff. This hostel is very safe: my belongings, which included cell phones, laptop, etc, were never jeopardized.

Disliked: Location was a bit far, and at first it was a bit hard to get to (because the rail wasn't in service). But, after only 2 nights I knew the bus routes by memory and had no more problems.

Liked: Very nice staff, very clean and good bar upstairs! If you're going to the O2 this is the best choice.

Disliked: There was nothing to complain, I loved it!

Liked: The staff were friendly, the rooms were comfortable, they had lots of bathrooms which meant they were never overcrowded in the mornings.

Disliked: The beds were very loud, if you moved even slightly you worry about waking everyone else up, but that's such a small point, I really don't have any other complaints.

Liked: Awesome staff! The proprietor was the nicest man I've ever met! He personally took an interest in our comfort, even so far as to look up and print out timetables for us and let us check out before 6 am even though we hadn't asked the night before. Awesome rooms! The room we were in was well equipped and comfortable. Everything was clean and in good repair. Awesome kitchen! The kitchen set up was great! It was well stocked and comfortable. Free internet! Although there was only one computer, and you had to go to the common room/kitchen if you needed wifi, nobody was fighting over spots. Plus you could watch tv or cook while you waited for your turn at the computer.

Disliked: The hotel was not located within walking distance of any tourist attractions, so you'd have to ride the train into central London every day which would end up being a bit pricey. However, for the kind of service you get here, I'd say it's worth it!

Liked: The staff is very friendly and efficient. The building and self catering room are cool. The WiFi connection is fine: at no charge and with freedom, no junk "service" such as Global Gossip. True self catering.

Disliked: 1GBP/day for the locker in dorm. Not very central located. But a cool place, I would definitely stay again here.

Liked: The acomadatipn was good for money I will stop here again . The kitchen is good if you want to make yourself a meal we were on the middle floor so did not hear the pub noise .My freind would have liked a private bath room but it was not a problem for me . Beds were comfee

Disliked: not as many bathrooms as I would have liked needs new carpets but good for money will go back

Liked: Staff is sooooo friendly and helpfull. Don't hesitate to ask questions. The fully equiped kitchen is really convenient. Right next to the overground station named Charlton so transport is easy and quick: 15 mins to get to the center. Right next to a supermerket opened 24hours during the week. computer available with internet!!

Disliked: Noisy so if you sleep with the windows open bring ear plugs or something.
