Liked: nothing

Disliked: Everything was very old. We had to stay there for some days and the rooms weren't clean. The staff didn't speak a good English so it was really hard to understand their accent. We asked for a receipt but they never gave it to us. The breakfast was every day the same. There was a fridge in the room but it didn't work properly.

Liked: Decent rooms, ensuite bathroom, clean and nice and generally very satisfactory.

Disliked: The room was cold and the receptionist seemed reluctant to be up past about 11 pm to let people into the building, despite the (as I'd understood it) "no curfew" rule.

Liked: This hotel is in a good location, 5min walking to Earl's Court tube station. If you just want a place in a good location, where to sleep, this is the place for you.

Disliked: When you open the door and enter there, it smells like dust, like a place where they don't open the windows too often. The breakfast starts at 8am, which maybe be late for some people, and it has limited choices anyway. You cannot use their computer for internet at any time. They didn't let me check my email at 10pm. Sorry, just 9am-9pm. There were three guys there, and I was told that those are the plumbers, and they play games. So, the plumbers are more important than the clients.

Disliked: We book 3 rooms for 3 couples but the first night they gave us 1 room with 6 beds. A part this inconvenience the rest of the holiday was good.

Liked: It's very central you can travel to whatever place you want in central London, it's located 5 minutes to the underground picadilly line, and you can go directly to heathrow airport withought changing lines.

Disliked: the bedroom that I've stayed in it's was a litle bit poor. And there was a problem with the towels...only in the secound day we had clean towels.

Liked: Excellent position. Staff was polite.

Disliked: Breakfast was not so good, we (all guest in hotel) often have to wit on spoon, knife, butter, coffie table was not cleand after someone before us eat breakfast. Despite of that I think it was a minor problem and I would recomment this hotel to my friends.

Liked: good location.

Disliked: Aweful place!!! Dirty, old and just not worth the money. The staff is not really helpful and friendly, the rooms are kind of dirty and old, the beds are under bad conditions. However, the character of the Hotel is alright and the location is good. Breakfast hall is way to small but the food & service itself is ok. To sum up, don't waste your money on that hotel, you can find a better Bed & Breakfast!

Liked: The location is good, there is only short walk to Earl's Court underground station. There are also several groceries, restaurants and other shops nearby hotel. Room is ok, after all it's only 2 star hotel anyway. Bathroom was very clean and nice.

Disliked: The windows are poor and there were even some small holes on them. We stayed in this hotel in September when the weather was fairly warm but I am scared to think how cold the room would in winter! The breakfast is poor, there's really nothing to eat on it, well I didn't even expect much from the breakfast anyway. Often at the evening time, the receptionist is on the break and there is no one giving or taking the room key so one must wait in lobby which I found very irritating especially when this happened several times and the break was longer than 10 to 15 mins what was mentioned on the wall. Our TV was having very bad signal.

Liked: Location is the best thing going for this hotel.

Disliked: Very uncomfortable beds, we had to change rooms because the first bed was so bad, two different levels of two mattresses pushed together and one side was sagging and leaning nearly to the floor. The bathrooms were not well cleaned, a little bleach to kill the mold would have gone a long way. No face cloths or hand towels, no ice, no soap. In first room, refrigerator was quite dirty, slow drain in shower and sink. Second room, slow drain in sink, but the bed springs were easily felt, no refrigerator. Continental breakfast from 8:30 am to 9:30 am and they expected you to leave at 9:30 whether you were done or not. Check out was at 11 am, but some guy came knocking on the door at 10:30 to make sure we were going to be out by 11, pointing to his watch and saying 1/2 hour, thought we had left (odd since we still had the key) and how he said he wanted to clean the room. Really did not feel welcome in the least.

Liked: this hotel had very nice and helpful staff. there were mould in the shower, but at least they cleaned and made the bed every day. the continental breakfast was okay and the staff helped us by answering questions, and one day we even got breakfast although we came to late!

Liked: The hotel is in a great location! Lots of great restaurants and bars in the area. Short walk to a huge Underground station (Earls Court) that will take you right to Heathrow (Piccadilly Line). The Hotel itself is budget for sure. You'll have to leave your room key at reception whenever you leave. Sheets and towels were clean (hotel Staff will change your towels everyday), but the carpet and shower could have been better. The shower pressure wasn't great, but at least it got hot. They turn the heater off/way down during the day. Ask for a hair dryer at reception because they're not in the rooms. They have a few adapters for electronics that you can ask for too. If they run out, you can buy one around the corner for around 6 pounds. There is a computer for shared use in the breakfast room (across from the lobby), but it's only open until 9p. There is WiFi, but you can only access it from the breakfast room (not the rooms). The breakfast was basic - toast (hotel staff will bring it out to you), cereal, coffee/tea, and orange juice. Our room had a tiny TV with four channels, a closet, and a full size fridge. Basic, basic, basic. My GF and I spent a whole week at this Hotel. We live in NYC, we're in our mid-20s, not picky, and it was our first time in London. All and all, don't expect the Marriott and you'll be good. I wouldn't recommend it for families or count on it as a place to meet people.
