Liked: It's one of the cheaper hotels in the area.

Disliked: The staff was not very helpful and there was no lifts so it was difficult to lug the luggage up and down.

Liked: Good central location, nice and clean.

Disliked: I was on the top floor and the climb up the stairs was pretty hard with the luggage!

Liked: Very good location but our room was filthy; garbage on the floor, bathroom was dirty (even after they "cleaned" the first night). Also, walls must be incredibly thin because you can hear every sound.

Liked: Pretty location but still at least ten minutes walk from any tube stations or shops. Hotel staff weren't very forthcoming and seemed rather surprised whenever i asked them anything. And the night receptionist had fallen asleep when we came back one night! (Although it was 4am!) Bathroom was modern and clean but rather small, room was simple and note that the tea and coffee 'facilities' mean powdered milk, not nice :s We didnt sleep well at all as the walls seemed very thin and whenever neighbouring guests moved about it sounded like they were actually in our room! We weren't told when breakfast was, so went down at 10.30 but all that was there were a few cannisters of cereal and no bowls or milk or anything, so i assume we'd missed breakfast time, unless we're meant to provide our own bowls and milk?! All in all, you're paying for a bed and thats what you get, no frills.

Liked: The staff were very helpful and 24hr reception was handy. However, it took a long time to get my heater to work, which isn't very good in winter! The bed was comfortable but the room didn't feel very clean - the wallpaper was peeling and the bathroom was very old. Breakfast is filling but overall it's not very fun - hardly any socialising going on in the breakfast room and there's no lounge or anything. Good location.

Liked: I assume the hotel is doing major updating with painting & redecorating which is always a good thing I suppose. My room had only been finished so unfortunately I had to put up with a strong paint fume smell (and sleep with the window open in December!) and bag?suitcases that had touched the wall had white marks...generally very good value for money for London and certainly better standarts for cleanliness then only six months ago when I spoke with travelers that stayed here...

Liked: It was a nice safe area the staff were very friendly, the room was a standard hotel room with phone, tea and coffe, Tv.. The breakfast was simple but did the job.. Definately for couples not a party place just a good decent place to stay really close to the centr4e

Liked: Room was okay kind but restaurant where the breakfast was hosted was really bad....shortage of spoons...bowls....basically the service there was 3rd grade...and this was not expected after paying 70 quids a night to stay at this hotel

Liked: it is strategically located near victoria coach station and the rail station. you can basically walk to all the top tourist attractions such as buckingham palace and westminster area. they have brochures they provide at the entrance which is good.

Liked: everything was fine with this place, but we had some loud noices coming from the next room at all hours of the day and night. I did not sleep well thanks to these individuals that probably made a mess in their room.

Liked: it is a shame that the hotel doesn't have a lift. however, it provides free lugguge room for tenants to use after check-out at half past ten. simple breakfast is acceptable.
