Liked: Location is perfect! Near to a lot of public traffic transport lines. Staff friendly.

Disliked: This hotel lives truely from the location. Poperty is low standard. Staff is not be able to change things which ran bad. Most rooms are loud. Come back late the day and leave early... (-: ) So, expect really low standard on a wonderful location.

Liked: Rooms are great, clean and quiet. Close to the Bayswater station and shops only about 5 minutes walk..Staff are friendly

Disliked: The floors in the hallways are uneven..almost like the floors are sinking?

Liked: The staff were very helpful and cheerful. The hotel was immaculately clean and it was located close to a Tube station, except that the station was closed at the time we were there.

Disliked: It was very hot inside even though the outside temperature was not. There was no air conditioning and we didn't get the fan we asked for.

Liked: After a whole day walking around London all I wanted was a nice meal and a big and confortable bed to lay down, and I got it at UMI. Great!

Disliked: The towels were too old, new towels please!

Liked: Nice big room with plenty of space for luggage etc Great location away from hustle and bustle but still convenient Friendly staff and 24hr reception Easy Internet access Delicious cheap breakfast Lovely fresh, clean atmosphere

Liked: I liked the tidiness of the room, free towel, and the cafe has reasonable prices.

Disliked: the noise! my gosh, there must have been a herd of 20+ middle school students on a group trip or something. they seemed to have run the place. running up and down aisles, shouting and knocking on each other's doors at 7 am! this is not acceptable and quiet hours should be reinforced! the tub and faucets were also annoying -- it was either extremely hot or cold, but then cold just became extremely hot after a while. free internet would also be nice. 20 min for 1 pound is pretty pricey. the last hostel I stayed in at least gave us the first 40 minutes for free using the same cards (global gossip)

Liked: UMI London was GREAT! Very clean, comfortable, and friendly. The location cannot be beat. About a 5 minute walk to Bayswater train station which will take you anywhere you want to go in London. The neighborhood of the hotel is great. Tons of cute pubs, good shopping, friendly people. restaurants, etc. I will definitely be booking another trip to London and staying at UMI London again. Could not have loved it more.

Disliked: The walls are thin so it was noisy in the morning.

Liked: Easy to walk to the tube station. Everything you needed was available.

Disliked: Didn't say on the website that towels were included. Sink was in the bedroom rather than the bathroom. Extractor fan didn't work in the bathroom.

Liked: Location is great! Queensway is a great street to shop. Bayswater st. is only 5 minutes from the heart of London. Cleaning service is good, and I also liked the fact that the hotel supports fair trade. Staff is friendly

Disliked: The toilet in our room didn't flush properly and the showerhead was loose

Liked: The location was good: there were bus and tube stops nearby, as well as a street with a lot of stores. Even the area seemed really nice! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived on Saturday night, and many people were coming in asking for the karaoke bar in the basement! We didn't check it out, but it seemed like a fun place and a great place to meet (mostly British) people.

Disliked: The only bad thing was that the place seemed a little old. The floors squeaked and such. It was nice and clean though, so not a problem.

Disliked: Rather noisy as my bedroom faced the street and no double glazing. Only one sash window opened so very very stuffy
