Liked: It's near the city centre but very quite. There are natural history museum and Victoria Museum nearby, the location is very good. The wooden beds are quite good,.

Disliked: The signs for guests like how to book and buy breakfast is not clear. We waited for 15 minutes for the waiters to let us know how to buy breakfast, he was in the kitchen, when he came out, he disappointed us that we only can buy the ticket in the reception desk where there was a long queue.

Liked: Good location, decent price. The room was cramped but clean. Felt secure. Decent cafe at the bottom and plenty of space as well as bathrooms in the corridors so you don't have to use the horrible in room ones.Near a fair few of the main attractions, plyus shopping and Hyde Park and Kensignton gardens.

Disliked: No free breakfast (although the one they provide for a fee is pretty good) or wi-fi (GLobal Gossip available which is very expensive) which is really what makes my mind up about choosing a hostel. The bathrooms in the rooms are AWFUL, like the cubicles in planes and just as dirty. There's NO space, the shower sprays everywhere and gets the whole room wet. There definitely need to be some larger bathrooms outside the rooms with showers, I imagine as is it'd be a nightmare in summer/rush period.

Liked: The location is very convenient, close to South Kensington. The rooms are clean and tidy.

Disliked: There are no smaller dorm than 8 beds

Liked: Clean. Bed became better with much less noise than last time. Breakfast was good. I like New lift.

Disliked: The room was too cold to sleep at night and I caught cold because of this. I encourage you to have electric heater during winter time or raise the temperature or prepare additional duvets for the guests who feel cold like me. Shower was too narrow and not good for fat people.

Liked: There was a large lounge room where everyone could meet. The breakfast was delicious. The bed was comfortable.

Disliked: Service: During my stay in Meininger, the elevator was being fixed so we had to go all the way up the 5th floor to bring in our luggages. Then, our room had no water so we had to transfer down to the 3rd floor. After another day, we were asked to go back to the 5th floor again. This took up almost half of our day cause we had to repack and repack and repack.

Liked: Very well presented property and friendly but professional staff. Details to cleanliness and convenience of the clients in mind. Very good value for money.

Disliked: Nice clean and welcoming attitude from the staff and the place as organised.

Liked: This is incredibly cheap for South Kensington - one of the most affluent areas of London - which also happens to be only two tube stops away from Victoria where Megabus coaches depart from/arrive to. The hostel has a decent communal cafe area to meet other travellers. Also staff are helpful & friendly.

Disliked: Like any big hostel, it doesn't have the cosyness of a smaller place which is not necessarily a bad thing, just a matter of taste.

Liked: The staff was nice and helpful. Very good location.

Disliked: Especially the bathrooms in the room were dirty and pretty disgusting. We only got one room key, even though there were two of us.

Liked: This hostel had an excellent location, 10min walk from Harrods and lots of other attractions. All the staff were extremely friendly and it was a very clean and modern hostel. Amazing value for money, i'd definitely stay here again if in London again and will recommend it to others.

Disliked: There were bedside lamps attached to the walls next to some of the beds, however, it would have been useful to have these next to all the beds. Some members of our dorm did not let us put the main light on which made finding things in our lockers and suitcases quite difficult as we did not have bedside lamps.

Liked: Nothing.

Disliked: I had to carry my baggage up 10 flights of stairs to get to my room on the 5th floor because their lift has been out of service for a really long time -- get it fixed already! Also, another guy in my 14 bed room had his computer stolen -- sketchy right? I roomed with some pretty sketchy people and I did not feel safe at all. The bathroom (2 for 14 beds) is the size of an airplane bathroom. It was horrible. When you took a shower, you had to crouch against the wall. Changing clothes? Really not so easy! Everything in the bathroom would essentially get soaked if someone took a shower. Also, the drain wasn't really working so I could only shower for about 5 minutes without it overflowing -- there is no break between the shower and the bathroom floor!

Liked: Location is great, very central and right next to the Natural History Museum. Very close to the Underground. Great views from 5th and 6th floor. Stuff was friendly and very helpful.

Disliked: The lift was out of order and so I had to carry all my stuff up into 5th floor! En suite bathrooms were very dirty and far too small! I slept in an upper bunk bed and was terribly freezing and blinded because it was right under the air condition and lights.

Liked: it was clean, the beds comfortable and it wasn`t necessary to put the linen on the bed or to remove it after the stay.

Disliked: the elevator was out of order, you have to pay extra for breakfast and wifi (really expensive in my opinion)

Liked: Great location but too expensive in my opinion. If you just want to explore London from a central location and not really party too much, it's good.

Disliked: Everything has a charge and that charge is almost always too much e.g. breakfast = 4.50 for toast, cereal and juice/coffee, internet = 5 per 24hrs or 8 for 48hrs. For some reason you can't drink the water in the bathroom so you need to walk to the end of the hall to get a drink. Not much in the way of partying going on here so it's a bit harder to meet people - if you want to party there are definitely better options in the same general location

Liked: I liked the location of the hotel, its cleanliness and safeness the most. At the night it was very quiet. And the view from our room was beautiful.

Disliked: Almost nothing, we were at sixth floor and lift was not working but that was published at least a mounth earlier so we knew that before we book our room :-)

Liked: Einfach perfekt. Das bestie Hostel in dem ich je war. Man fühlt sich eher wie in einem Hotel. Das 12er Dorm is aufgeteilt das es eher 3x4er sind, Duschen und WC auf dem Zimmer, sehr sauber.

Disliked: Konnte nur zwei Tage bleiben weil mein Flieger dann ging.

Liked: it was very clean and fitted with modern quiet bunks and abolution facilities

Disliked: I asked if front desk staff could find out if there were luggage storage facilities at Her Majesty's Theatre however the evening staff told me to ask the morning staff and the morning staff guessed NO. A ph call from a relative (as we did not have access to their details) revealed that infact they did!

Liked: The location is perfect! And the room and bathrooms were very clean. I booked a dorm bed in a 12 persons room but I got a bed in a 4 persons room.

Disliked: The breakfast is not included in the price. Also the internet is expensive if you don´t have your own laptop.

Liked: Good value for money. Exceptionally clean. Provide toilet in ensuite 8 dorm Bedroom. Has a bar but extremely peaceful at night.

Disliked: Has various facilities but wifi not free.

Liked: It's a modern and nice place to stay. Very close to a tube station and easy to find. The last day we had to check out at ten am, but our bus didn't leave until midnigth. We coul leave the baggage there and stay later in the common area without any problem. The staff is very nice.

Disliked: The elevator didn't work. Not a surprise, they email me to tell, but we were in the sixth floor, so... But not a big deal. Also, in the site it's said that towels are for free, but that's not true. There's a deposit of five pounds for each one (refundable) and you need to pay 1 pound.
