Liked: We were made to feel at home by the manager Alex and luckily for us (as a group of lads on a football weekend) it was perfect because there were no other guests for us to potentially upset! This is the second time we have stayed at the BankHall and would recommend this is others looking for VFM. It's functional over fancy, but we certainly wouldnt look elsewhere when staying in Liverpool.

Disliked: The location is ok, but you need to travel further afield to find shops, pubs, fast food etc.

Liked: Service was good and the price matched with what it was being offered. The rooms were clean.

Disliked: The showers are too small and one of the showers was clogged so the water level was raising. I'm sure this could be fixed right away so it is not a negative to dismiss this hotel.

Liked: Excellent staff level of service, value for money, and literally a stone's throw away from the local railway station (10 mins to Liverpool city centre)

Disliked: A dank smell in some of the communal rooms, pool table was disgusting and showers weren't very clean.

Liked: It is easy to get to the city centre and for the amount you pay it is an average place to stay for a few nights and get a decent shower.

Disliked: the courtain in our room was broken and we couldn't close it so when the sun came we had to wake up. Toilets were not always clean.

Disliked: Location was a bit far from city centre, but not a deal breaker as there is good access to transportation.

Liked: a lovely place! the hotel is very clean with pretty rooms,it is possible to relax in the confortable living room with Tv and computers with free internet!or to have some fun playing ping pong or biliards in the room beside. the location is well served by public transportation.the bus/ train station is 1 minute walk from the hotel and in 6 minutes by train/bus you get in the city center . the hotel offers a rich breakfast..nice place with friendly and helpful staff!!!

Disliked: The only down side would be the location. It's kind of far from the city centre and all the tourist attractions but

Liked: It was good, tidy people an tha, good atmosphere, nice and quiet, nothing bad at all really except for one major thing

Disliked: it's so far away! central is like 3 miles from bankhall, so unless you have money... we had to walk twice, one time the police gave us a lift and the other we just walked, it's not too bad but pretty far and through a rough area.

Liked: The hotel is really comfy. You feel like being at home. You can find a lot of facilities as a kitchen where you can cook to you, a living room with TV (with Sky), free computers and free WIFI, a nice game room with a pool and table tennis in there, etc. The room was warm and quiet. All is clean. You have the train station really close (2 min. walking), and they offer to you a taxi service with really good prices. The staff was great. It was helpful and kind. Happy to stay there. Absolutely recommended.

Liked: Beds were very comfortable Entire hostel was clean Wifi Tvs in our room Kitchen facilities were great with heaps of room. Plus brekkie was provided b Games room kept us occupied Lounge/dining room was excellent and comfy

Disliked: Not in the town centre. But only 10-15 minutes away by trains which run frequently.

Liked: got kicked out, but the staff were really sound and helped us get another hostel

Liked: Kitchen set up is great. There is a washing machine, dryer, iron - everything you need! Toilets & Showers very clean.

Disliked: It's not near much - but the train is 1 minute from the door so pretty easy to get into town (or it's only £5 in a cab!)
